The old adage of you get what you pay for is very true, especially here. The rooms are not big and definitely old. They could use a good clean up and a load of basic maintenance. The shower pressure seemed to change every 20 seconds and that was at 430am when you wouldn't expect too many others to be up. During the day, I kept hearing planes taking off overhead. Having said that, the bed was reasonably comfortable and the person who checked me in was extremely friendly and allowed me to check in early.

I stayed just one night , before surgery at Sydney Private, I found the staff absolutely lovely. The room had everything I needed, plus there were shared common areas to prepare your own meals and tea and coffee making facilities available 24/7. It’s nothing flash , great price , wifi and clean . 

Great Value

Stayed here for 3 nights as we wanted the convenience near family after the birth of our grandchild. The rooms were large, the beds were comfortable and they changed the sheets every day. The walls were cracked, there was mildew above the tiles in the bathroom. I felt that the place needed a really good scrub. But the price was cheap and the location was best for us. The outside also needed a really good clean. Wouldn't take much to get this place up to scratch. Won't be staying here again

You get what you pay for

Stayed here for one night & thank goodness it wasn’t longer !! I didn’t expect it to upper class owing to the cheap price, although I didn’t expect it to be clean & to smell fresher.  Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.....Disgusting filth !!!

Disgusting

Being on a pension and frugal with what finances I do have, I chose this hotel for the position of where my intended function was being conducted. For $110 you get the very basics. First off there is ample off street parking. The rooms are of a reasonable size for two people and has the usual mini fridge, Tea & coffee making facilities, however the lighting could be improved dramatically in the rooms. Management has installed LED lighting outside since I was last here. Housekeeping services were good with the rooms cleared of rubbish each day.

The free breakfast is your basic Continental breakfast which consists of not much at all. There is no information brochures in the rooms as to public transport or any places of interest. To find out any information you have to keep going to the reception and ask. But all the doors have a new entry system which is quite good.

The motel is well worn and not only looking a bit tired for its age, but feeling it as well.There are no meals available at this motel so don't expect much. The nearest fast food place is Red Rooster just a very short walk away. The shower has no curtain so expect the water to be everywhere. The beds are okay and reasonably comfortable but I think the pillows need replacing.

All in all, if you are just looking for a place to sleep and nothing else this motel would do you nicely. For the service provided, it is not worth spending $110 a night here if you are on a tight budget. But everybody has different tastes and expectations.

Three night Stay

This motel is a little tired but the rooms are big and have everything you need.  Good value for money considering it’s about $100 a night for a motel close to Ashfield train station and only 20 minutes to Sydney’s CBD.  Beds are uncomfortable and Isabel mentioned that to reception.  Staff are friendly and knowledgeable of transport links and local attractions.

Good Value

Clean pressed sheets do nothing to hide the smell of stale body odour in the bedding and on entry to the room in this motel. The shower leaks, nowhere to put your soap in the shower. The security door chain is broken along with flacking paint in bathroom. Coupled with this load thumping music and laughing at 615am Sunday morning right outside the door in the motel car park. Great fun place.also be aware they photocopy your licence and Do not return it to you the next day when key returned and room checked,  very off putting for your security
