Great location almost on the beach. Older motel but clean, comfortable and quiet. Kitchen, good shower pressure and undercover parking. There is a guest laundry.
The surf club is a two minute walk away and does a great meal. A five minute walk is the Truffle pig. The prawn pasta was amazing, the coffee not so.

Great location

Beautiful location, walking distance to food and drinks, so close to ocean you can hear it, well maintained, friendly, the room is everything you need. Small but actually perfect. Awesome view. Can’t complain. Oh, no food delivery services lol bought our own anyway

Lovely motel with great views from the top floor overlooking the pool and ocean, & a very welcoming host and a spotless room with everything we needed for our overnight stay… wish we could have stayed longer.. Our 1st time staying at Tannum Sands..

Beautiful older style motel just a 50mtr walk through beautiful gardens to the beach. Manager was very helpful and able to recommend the best places to have a meal. Room was spotless, well laid out, plenty of storage space and beautiful views to the ocean, Very quiet location with undercover parking for guests.

Tannum spectular.

Had 2 night stay at this great motel - rooms clean, comfortable, good size with a small kitchenette. Onsite parking. Walking distance to club, pub, cafes and beach. Close to nice coastal walks. Owner extremely friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay again.

God value motel

Located on the beach at Tannum Sands and about 300 metres from the surf club, the motel is 70s style but very well maintained, with modern furnishings, a microwave and is ultra clean. I found the manager to be very helpful and welcoming and it was very good value for money.

Clean, Confortable Beach Motel

Friendly staff, amazing views and the unit is very clean.. nice outdoor area and clean pool. Close to the beach . Good tv channels, Wi-Fi is good. This is our last stay for our trip (10 other motels) this is by far the cleanest. Highly recommended!

Gem of a place to stay, we will be back!!

Friendly staff and impressive location.  Tannum on The Beach is a comfortable motel located on the door step to the Main Beach at Tannum Sands.   Good food options with in a 10 minute walk.  
One can hear the ocean from the rooms.  Beach is literally a 2 minute walk down the hill.

 The staff are helpful and were very flexible during recent pandemic problems.  
This is a go to place to stay in Tannum.  

Comfortable and friendly place to stay

We spent one night in a Queen Room on the second level with an ocean view. 

Our room was modern, clean and, while a bit compact, the view out to see made the room feel spacious. The bed was comfortable and the motel was quiet and the pool pleasantly warm.

The esplanade just in front of the motel offers a concrete walking track along the ocean front and we were amazed how well thought out the public areas were. Lots of covered eating areas looking out to sea. 

Not far from the motel are two supermarkets, two bottle shops and an excellent fish and chip shop. Just be aware that the servings of chips at Tannum Sands fish shop are Large !!
