I visited Tannum Sands for work and chose the motel because of its close proximity to work. Stayed at the motel for three nights. It was very clean, comfortable, peaceful and quiet ...Bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Motel had everything I needed: separate and spacious bedroom, spacious lounge, dining and kitchen area, clean bathroom, laundry and car park space. The owners were very friendly. Debbie went out of her way to help me out with my transport needs. Thank you so much Debbie, I really appreciate it. I certainly recommend this motel for whatever your reason of visiting Tannum Sands.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and great service!

We stayed at Palm Valley Motel for four nights while visiting for a friends wedding. We picked the motel for its close proximity to the beach, shops and cafes that we could walk to.
The rooms are a little dated, however are very spacious and comfortable. We had a full kitchen, lounge, dinning room, bathroom and laundry on top of a separate bedroom. Perfect for both a short or longer stay.
The pool was magnificent, peaceful and we happily spent two hours relaxing.

We booked this as a budget one-nighter as we were working and were only going to sleep here for a few hours before our next destination but was pleasantly surprised by the service, the rooms and the location.

The manager/owner arranged for a super-late key pick up and was very helpful and considerate. The rooms are dated, but very clean and very roomy. They even have a good washing machine etc...everything you need for a few days on a self contained holiday. The prices are great as well.

Beds were very comfortable and the location is quiet so you'll get a good nights sleep. I can definitely recommend this place.

Great service!

This motel is old style with cooking facilities, a stove (old) and cooking facilities. The main window opens onto the driveway which means you have no privacy or natural light as there are no shrubs or screens. It is clean and comfortable but a throwback to old style motels. There is a washing machine and a clothes line out the back BUT the back yard is not a patio, it is dusty and not maintained although it has an old table and a chair, it really is not suitable to sit and relax or eat as it is a dirt floor, open space for all units. Undercover parking. Close to shops and beach. Clean and comfy but generally disappointing. 

1980's style motel - clean and comfortable

We had a one night stop at the Palm Valley Motel , room was quite large with all expected facilities ( fully self contained ) decor is in need of a desperate upgrade , but room was very clean and tidy for its age , good stopover point in the way to somewhere else 

Very Clean 

I stayed here 18 months ago, but the Palm Valley seems to have deteriorated. It is very basic. The washing machine didn't work and it took two hours to find someone to help, the rack in the shower was rusty and the taps dripped. There was little cutlery and nothing in the kitchen was of the same number. It took three days before I could get wifi and there were very few hd  tv channels. The sign out the front says Foxtel but no, I was told it was an old sign.The pool and the barbeque areas have little to recommend them. Never again!
