An older motel but clean, cosy and comfortable. Excellent staff, and many thoughtful touches in the room to enable self catering. Perfect for a night on a road trip, with easy access off and on the highway.  Would happily stay there again on a future trip.

Poor night sleep dur to hard bed. Didn't try pillows.
This is a basic dated motel trying to have as many room facilities available to make an overnight stay comfortable.
The room had a microwave, jug, toaster, coffee maker and crockery and cutlery.
You were expected to wash dishes at BBQ area. There wasn't even any hot water there.
There was a table top ironing board and iron which worked ok.
There was a small comfortable couch. Even so the couch was very low and hard to get out of.
The bathroom is small, dated and poky. It did have a removable shower head however it was low and hard to stand under it.
They do provide real milk which was a bonus.
For $130 night this accommodation isn't value for money for what it is.
Not keen to stay again especially as the bed is so hard.

Basic dated accommodation

We found this Motel to have everything we needed, including the box of plates,cps, knives and forks. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. It is also well priced. For those who want there is also a camp kitchen BBQ area.

South Coast trip

Really good night here for a short stay. Basic room but very clean and extras included plates cutlery microwave etc. very comfortable bed. Reception outstanding. 

Free wifi, good tv and lots of hot water in the shower.

Great 

I haven't reviewed an accommodation place for quite a while due to a lack of being inspired enough. Not the case with the Taree Country Motel. The rooms are large and attractive, with lots of thoughtful extra features that make it obvious that the owners genuinely want customers to enjoy their stay. They went out of their way to be helpful and also obviously practically care about the environment - a recycle bin in the room and Who Gives a Crap toilet paper (a great choice). I was very impressed by the Motel and the Reception couple that I assume are the owners. I highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay

We had been driving for 15 hours saw this Motel and pulled in.so glad we did. The receptionist was excellent very helpful, and getting us a room.
The room was a very good size and very well stocked with Tea,Coffee Biscuits. And a Pod Coffee machine with plenty of pods. She said take as much milk as you want to make our coffee.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom very clean as was the room. 
Not far From eateries, 
Very quiet even though it’s next to the road.
Lots of plates, bowls and cutlery.
A microwave oven.
We would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay .

Great Motel to stay

We enjoyed our little stopover, could of easily stayed more nights - the beds were so comfortable and we had plenty of space for two adults and a teen, we even had 5 bikes that we had to store in the room and could easily fit these and still be comfortable. The room was very clean, and decorated with a modern style. Roz in the office had all the information of the town and places to eat which we appreciated. A big thank you to Michele for amending our accommodations to suit our needs.

Great overnight stay

Arrived at this motel late without a booking. Lady greeted us and was very obliging. Room was absolutely perfect , clean , toiletries, tea/coffee etc all supplied. Very quiet and room cool . Water pressure excellent. No hesitation recommending this mote, well done .

Late night booking

We stayed one night at the Taree Country  Motel.Good central location near the M1.Fairly basic accomodation with no frills.Room was clean and tidy and had tea/coffee making facilities.Really everything you could possibly want but at a very basic level.Room cost $113 per night.So very good price.

Basic but functional motel accomodation

We stayed here for one night on our drive south. Just off the motorway on the Southside of town and is best accessed by taking the southern exit on the motorway.
Staff were very friendly with advice for dinner options.
Room was quiet with a good bed, clean bathroom and shower.
Suited our needs perfectly
