What an amazing place to stay!  Each of the rooms our teams had were of the highest quality and  made our skaters feel relaxed and welcome.  Our athletes feedback was so great to hear.

The pools were beautifully presented as was the landscaping.  The apartments were of such a  high standard the teams weren’t expecting we’d get them into such a high level venue.

I believe our stay here helped keep the teams be as relaxed as possible in their downtime when they weren’t training for their events at the Australian Figure Skating Championships held in Erina. (They won two gold medals 🥇🥇and 3 silver medals 🥈🥈🥈)

Bob, I thank you and your team for maintaining this beautiful property at such a high level.

Gold medal accommodation!

Room was amazing, very comfortable, great views. It was very relaxing with a short walk to the esplanade. The facilities were great, kids loved both pools. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to families. 

Great location and facilities 

Wow! What a fantastic few days! We took my parents for a mini trip away from home, for a change of scenery and routine and this definately ticked all the boxes! From an immaculate, spacious self contained apartment to a view that you could look at all day! Thank you to Bob and Kirsty who did everything to ensure everything went smoothly - we cannot thank you enough. Trip was just what the doctor ordered and we hope to see you again soon!

Locally renowned as the best resort in Terrigal, our personnel experience in staying here would fully endorse this.

We stayed here for one month in June and could not speak more highly of the resort.

Firstly, the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional in their interactions with guests.

Secondly, the units we stayed in, and there were two, in different sections of the resort, were immaculate in their cleanliness, self-contained facilities and comfort.

Additionally the amenities are excellent - tennis court, outdoor pool, indoor pool, gymnasium, BBQ area and squash court.

Whilst there is not a restaurant, there is a weekend cafe located at the outdoor pool site that offers appealing breakfast and lunch menus.

The resort is located within easy walking distance of the Terrigal CBD which abounds with food outlets.

Whilst this is a considerably expensive place to stay, the advantages of staying here more than balances the expense of doing so.

Access to the property is easy and there is adequate underground parking, free of charge.

Friends of guests are very welcome  to enjoy the facilities  - minimal visitor parking area available.

Certainly a 5 rating from us.

Exceptional Accommodation, Location and Service

An exceptional stay in Unit 52 beautifully furnished, always friendly staff and the squash, tennis and pools (heated) got a good work out. 3 Nights with 3 other couples plenty of room and the winter package was great value.

The in house dining experience by Jax @ Disco Lemonade was exceptional. 4 courses designed around our needs, the highest quality dining experience and certainly catering at its best. Many great touches which made the night memorable for all the right reasons!!

Couples get away to celebrate 50

We had a fun and amazing few nights stay. Great facilities and best location. Easy stroll down to browse through the shops and then a nice short walk back along the boardwalk. Friendly wonderful staff, we will be back!!!

Girls weekend

Another amazing stay in our home-away from-home, we have been back to these beautiful units many times and look forward to it every year. 

First class facilities, in an awesome location with exceptional staff, Bob the Boss, Anne and Kirsty always make us feel so welcome and look after our every need/want.

Traveled with a group of 11 ladies, we had two separate units 48 & 49, with plenty of room to spread out.

Recommend for  trips of groups of friends or love also staying as a group of three generations of my family. Something to do for everyone.

Three swimming pools, one indoor heated. Two outside one heated with slippery dip going down to an outdoor spa and if you want more peace & quiet away from the groups of children there is also a tropical pool hidden away.

The Poolside cafe is very convenient for Breakfast, lunch, cocktails,coffees, with room service or purchase their beautiful platters if you do not want to cook.

Tennis court, squash court and Gym for those of us that like to keep active. Pool table, library and table tennis for some fun. As I said something for everyone.

Plenty of walks to do, whether you want an intensive workout or gentle stroll down to the beach and a shop at the lovely boutiques in Terrigal, restaurants, pub or Rugby Club straight across the road which had fabulous service & food.

Our group of girls had amazing in room massages by the wonderful Mari & Louise. Just what we needed to relax into our stay.

We had 2 hours  of fun doing paintings with Rose and Renoir in our beautiful unit on a rainy Sunday afternoon, a couple of champagnes, cheese and bickies, finding our inner artist, with loads of laughs.

Can't wait for my  next stay in October as a mini school reunion and November with my beautiful family, who don't like being left behind as they know how amazing Star of the Sea is.

Amazing stay in paradise

We were very disappointed with Apartment 35 as it was tired and poorly maintained. 
The kitchen exhaust fan could not be turned off, weeds were growing on the balcony, the return air grill in the master bedroom hadn’t been cleaned for a long time, there was hair in one shower and the whole apartment was generally grubby. 
Missing were simple things like a coffee machine, oven mitts and oil. Also provided was the worst toilet paper we’ve ever experienced. 
For the price we expected more.

Very disappointing

What a great few days away staying at this fabulous resort. Bob and his team could not be more helpful and accommodating. So easy to deal with and nothing was to much trouble. We were a party of 5 + 1 baby, 4 generations celebrating an 80th birthday. Our apartment (49) was spacious, well equipped and had the best views. My mother received a lovely bottle of bubbles as a birthday gift from Bob and team on our arrival.
We will definitely be back.

Relax and unwind at this beautiful Resort.

This was our consecutive third year at Star of the Sea and have booked again for 2023!  The staff are exceptional, Bob, Anne, Kirsty etc.  The pool was just the right temperature and the cocktails were fantastic.   We celebrated our friends birthday and we were fortunate to have their in house catering by  Disco Lemonade Catering which was just superb.  Highly recommend Star of the Sea.
