We had a one night stay on our road trip across the country   Very comfortable room with friendly hosts.  Great beds, warm rooms and you got to love a great water pressure in the bathroom.  Beautiful view out on to the golf course with spectacular river walks   Excellent food at the nearby golf club was the icing on the cake.  Will revisit this place when passing this way again.

Comfortable stay in peaceful location

Haven't stayed here for about 10 years.  Booked for a sporting event in 2021, but had to cancel due to Covid19.  Fortunately, in 2022 the sporting event was held and I could go to the Tooleybuc Motel.  Booking was easy via the motel website and Check in was friendly.  Rooms are larger than normal with plenty of room to spread out, comfortable beds and the usual motel facilities.  The only issue I had was the lighting in the room was somewhat dim.

Large Rooms & Comfortable

Arrived later in the evening. Greeted by a trainee receptionist who was very friendly and tried to be  helpful, but clearly still learning the ropes and
requiring assistance from the ‘managers’ who were watching TV in the back room - and whom where not particularly supportive of her efforts. In fact, they were / looked a little scary IMO, verging on unfriendly as Chriswee mentions in his comments. Room was OK, clean enough. Bathroom,
Room, bedding, kitchen appeared clean but needs motel a big update - I doubt there is anything much better around so this was it! The fly screens filthy and screen onto balcony not lockable. Lots of random messages about cleaning the kitchen before departing and leaving it as we found it. Given we have paid for the ‘privlage’ I think it’s a bit rich of management. Given Covid it would be in the managements to professionally clean all kitchen items after guest departure- there maybe some liability issues on their part and I’m sure the hotel association has regulatory pandemic guidelines in place.
There are definitely issues at this motel, and while the trainee was good, I felt extremely uncomfortable about the permanent managers. My instincts tell me something is not right here.

Very disappointing room was dirty
Mould in shower taps hard to turn on and off.  We were unable to turn Light off in kitchen impossible to sleep with light on. Dust under bed was very thick with chip and Lolly wrappers everywhere. Mugs chipped microwave had sauce or similar splattered everywhere. Don’t check in before 2 or you will be charged an extra $10 per hour to check in early. Staff not very friendly.

Unfriendly and dirty

We stayed for one night as we travelled through as a family. The rooms were large but a bit dated - they were comfortable. There is a pool which was nice. Our only negative was how loud some other guests were, waking us up around 2am.

We would stay here again if we travel through Tooleybuc.

Comfortable, large rooms

I organised two men to stay at Tooleybuc Motel for a work trip. They insisted i write a review. They were both very pleased with their stay as well as the breakfast and packed lunches they recieved. overall they were very happy with their stay.

Very Homely feeling. Very good lunch packs!

Looking for the room across the road to the river gums along the Murray is a very peaceful way to start or end a day. The rooms here are very big, there is a swimming pool in the courtyard area and reception is friendly and helpful. Despite being right near the main road it is surprisingly quiet. A wonderful place to stay.

Great spot

I haven't stayed in tooleybuc since I was a kid and was pleasantly surprised by this lovely motel. The room was huge, very clean and fresh. There is a nice pool area which we used on arrival as well as many other family's. Will definitely stay again!

Lovely quiet spot to break up a long drive

I've stayed before and was very glad to stay again on Sunday. The staff are friendly, the grounds tidy and peaceful right opposite the river. Rooms are large with comfy beds and very tidy with convenient parking right outside your room (which being on a motorcycle is awesome). It's lovely sitting out on the verandah in the sun. Definitely stay again. Just a tip for dinner, take the walk down to the Sports Club.

Same Great Standard

With views across to the River Murray, this motel is a good place to break the long trip. Rooms are  spacious, clean and comfortable. 
It's right next to the hotel, a handy place for an evening meal, and there is a lovely walk along the river Murray.
