Great apartment, central to the main vibe of Torquay and our host Iveta was very helpful. Lots of little things to make our stay more enjoyable and garage for our car was a bonus. Stayed for a week and will definitely stay there again at some stage in he future

DISGUSTING SYRINGE FOUND IN THE ROOM WITH AIR CON THAT STUNK.

As a group of 6 knock around blokes returning from 7 nights bush camping on Fraser Island we were looking for some clean beds and a hot shower before our return drive home. We weren't going to be hard to impress. 

Initially walked into the room and could smell a strange stale smoke smell that wasn't tobacco.... it stunk but we passed it off and had a laugh thinking the previous occupants must have nailed a few cheezels and had a good time. Not much the owner could do there except maybe have aired it out some more.

Next stage was a hot shower in the ensuite .... a bit grubby but hot water was nice. Looking around I noticed a little shimmer of orange on the top of the door sill. Had a quick look and was horrified to find a dirty used syringe.  

Now I didn't feel comfortable staying in the beds or even drinking out of the glasses. Imagine if it had fell off and stuck me or even worse I had kids in the room who had found it and got stabbed? 

DISGUSTING AND VERY UNSETTLING . MADE FOR A TERRIBLE NIGHTS SLEEP.

We couldn't contact the owner until the next day. We also found out we had been charged TWICE for one of the rooms on the credit card. The extra payment was refunded but the owner said there was nothing she could refund for the room with the syringe despite dreams all night of catching filthy diseases.

We pressed the issue with the owner who simply said she had called the Police about the syringe but wouldn't refund our room despite the filth we found and uncomfort all night.

You can see the image I've uploaded regarding the syringe. Its legit, the tile in the bottom left hand corner will match the tile of the ensuite we stayed in.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - OWNER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT REPUTATION JUST WANTS TO A QUICK CASH GRAB. DID NOT CARE A SINGLE BIT

No So Luxury Apartments Used by Druggies

Booked inhere for 4 weeks as the price was right. Now I know why the price is low. The place is run down . pool is at the back and not even heated in the winter. It was advertised as being surround by tropic gardens. What a lot of rubbish. There a line of bushes up the driveway. at the other side of the building it is a terrible site. with rubbish along the fence line and a terrible run down place over the fence which has been closed down for a couple of years. The garages underneath the building are to small for a 4x4 to fit in as the entrance to each garage is not wide enough unless you want to damage you car. The bath had chips missing out of it. The beds were like slads of concrete to sleep on. The hot water service was so bad you could only have one quick shower. My wife had to wait 20 min for the water to heat up again. Remember you only get what you pay for

Terrible run place

My friend had organised this stay here for an 'overnighter' and we were very impressed by the size of the two bedroom ensuite top floor apartment at the rear of the complex. Everything you need is here..large kitchen, dining, lounge, balcony, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate ensuite. No lift...so if you have mobility issues the three floor stair climb will not be for you. There is a hall switch for lighting as you ascend the stairs and it is quietly situated. Didn't use the air con as it was too noisy but the fan was sufficient. All in all....clean, spacious, very well located and would stay again.

Comfortable and surprisingly roomy

Great little find, clean rooms and close to everything, very convenient and reasonable rates. We stayed as a family at the Jade Waters Luxury Apartments, for three days and I would recommend it to others.

Waterfront apartments, friendly staff.

We stayed at Jade Waters in June 2014 and we were so happy with the apartment.  It was very, very clean and in a great location.  Couldn't have been happier.  Great value for money.  Perfect for a family vacation.
