2 bedroom 2 bathroom furnished on Esplanade at Torquay. Has absolutely everything except linen & personals  & food. Great location to cafes, restaurants, shopping. Bus stop not far to stocklands shopping center.  This part of Fraser coast is very beautiful. So close to Fraser  is. Water  sports of all kinds.

Rental for 6 months 

Our apartment (117 on the top floor) was spotlessly clean when we arrived. These are by far the cleanest units we've ever stayed in. Our kids (4 & 6yo) loved the pool and the manager was about often but we never felt like we were being watched. These units are in a great location with undercover secure parking and a lift to all levels so getting luggage or elderly people to all levels is effortless. The furnishings are dated but in great condition, comfortable and clean. There is a second TV in the master bedroom which isn't stated on their website but was a welcome addition.
We've stayed in Hervey Bay many times and at most of the bigger resorts but we will be going back to La Mer from now on.
This complex really is a credit to the managers who do an excellent job.

These apartments were recommended in Lonely Planet guide and they really were excellent. Warm welcome from Bob on reception and shown to large apartment with all the facilities needed.
Full kitchen and laundry with washing powder included. Balcony large enough to sit on. Free wi fi.
We wanted to do a trip to Fraser Island and Bob arranged this so we wasted no time in having to look at brochures or contact companies direct. Fraser Island is a must do if you are here. We also wanted to watch whales but unfortunately we were a little late in the season for this.
Stayed in Hervey Bay a day longer than planned as we liked these apartments so much.

What a find!

The management here has done their upmost to provide clean and well equipped accommodations so that every detail of our vacation is taken care of. Even the BBQ area and carpark are clean.  Initially there is only a slight distraction based on the age of the unit, but soon one realizes that enough modernization has taken place to make sure that nothing deters from the enjoyment, cleanliness and efficiency of the units.  And, Bob is always around to help out with whatever you might want.  We had lots of nice furniture in our unit, the deck/patio area was clean and really enjoyable to sit out on (4 chairs and a table, and a drying rack), the kitchen had everything we might want and need.  there are extra pillows, and towels, a washer and drying, ironing board and iron, and so much more. Every little detail is looked after.  When taking us to our unit, Bob even put a container of cream in the fridge for the coffee.  BTW, there is a French Press in the unit, but the coffee provided is instant, so bring some ground coffee so that you can take advantage of the French Press.  We swam for a little bit and the pool is nice.  Also, if you want to play tennis you can use the courts next door for a small fee.  If I come back to Hervey Bay, we will most likely stay here again.

super clean, super deal

The service was definitely 5 star with the management escorting us to our room upon arrival, offering maps and advice regarding services around town, offering the use of luggage trolleys and quickly sorting out a bedding situation (the internet booking site I had used had shown pictures of the Beachfront 2 bedroom apartment having 2 single beds in the second bedroom however, it contains a double bed - this was sorted out painlessly with the offer of a portable bed.) The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and although some may describe the colour scheme as a bit 80s, the apartment was in such good condition, the décor suited the "beach" feel of the place. The location is excellent - right across the road from the beach and close to popular fish and chips and icecream stores. The underground parking is secure and complimentary. All the "little things" have been thought about at this premises, for examples, clothes airers on the balconies to dry your beach towels, a shower and hose at the entrance of the hotel to wash the excess sand off you if you have been to the beach, a full laundry in the apartment (with detergent), plenty of linen and towel rails, a wide range of utensils for preparing food and so on. We were visiting for a triathlon event, and for a family of four (with 2 teenage children) it was definitely value for money!

5 Star Service

The apartments are very well maintained and well equipped. We came outside the normal opening hours, a call in advance and everything was no problem. La Mer is conveniently located near restaurants and bars on the Esplanade. You can also book trips to Frazer Island there. The friendly manager likes to give tips.
