We had booked the stay with breakfast included for 2, but in the registers they did not have breakfast, which generated a not very pleasant moment. but considering that breakfast consisted of a bag with some items... otherwise, it was fine, very comfortable, we had a good rest.

I lived up to expectations...except for breakfast.

Despite advertising and paying for breakfast and wifi, neither were provided.  The room had plenty of space but the furniture was old.  No milk in the fridge.  Ok for the price but the breakfast and wifi tipped this one over the line and so I would have chosen elsewhere if I had known they were not really on offer. Also don’t put me in the front room closest to the highway just because we didn’t book direct.

Better value elsewhere

I was so impressed with this little motel! We got a room for a very reasonable rate where, elsewhere, I would expect pretty cheap quality but the room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was great! The rooms are lovely and light filled and come with a great selection of tea/coffee/biscuits. The lady at check in was also very friendly and accommodating. I’ll be staying here if I ever pass through Traralgon again!

Great price and great value!

Came here as a spontaneous trip to visit family. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

We have 2 young kids so we needed something with some room.
The space was a little cramped but had everything we needed. 

It definitely needs some upkeep, with some updated amenities.

It was good for what we paid for, and it was fine for a single might 

Dated but comfortable

Only 5 min drive from the Latrobe Valley Hospital plus dog friendly.

A family member was taken to the LVH, after hours of all the ups and downs at the hospital it was getting late in the day. Hubbie needed to go back to Melbourne to feed our dog as  I stayed at the hospital. With everything going on I knew I would need to find a place to stay for the night. To my surprise hubbie rang to let me know he and our dog had booked into the Motel Traralgon down the road from the LVH this took away a lot of stress.

Close to the Latrobe Valley Hospital and DOG friendly

The linens and beds were comfortable, coffee and tea provided. Old property with deferred maintenance, had to get on a chair to access the AC which was in need of a serious cleaning. The room I had didn’t look like any of their pictures. I understand the property is pet friendly.

Very modest, older property 

The young staff were very friendly and helpful, and responded promptly to problems, such as when the power failed after we turned on an extra appliance to help warm the room. (Our room was heated by an old-style, somewhat noisy airconditioner).  The small bathroom was cold on a winter's night as its only ventilation was an open window too high up to close.  The bed was very comfortable, with an electric blanket.  The motel is situated set back from the main road and the railway line, and was reasonably quiet.

Very basic motel.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, bed was good. Only complaint was the wifi slowed to a crawl after the motel filled up. This was a major issue trying to book the next nights hotel. Apart from this we would stay here again if passing through.

OK for a stay over

It's not actually a luxury place but meets the basic standards. Rooms are spacious with a good size and clean bathroom. TV, fridge and microwave makes it better. Beds are so comfortable. place is very clean and tidy and the behavior of people working there is very friendly. View from rooms, is fantastic.

The only negative point is the noise coming from other rooms, if they make a lot of it!

Good for stay

Lovely two bedroom room overlooking the Gardens. The Manager was friendly and wanted to ensure we had a good stay. The room was clean and everything in working order. A good selection of DVD's for loan in the office. Very reasonable rates for a two bedroom,  I would stay here again.
