We had a party to attend over the bridge and so this was a very convenient spot.  Upon arrival, I met Ron at Reception. He was respectful and friendly. Happy to say that there are small bags of chips for snacks and a range of chocolate bars etc within fridge.  An honesty system set-up ... just leave $2- per item for a replacement. I know this is an older 80s style hotel but it was nice to have these options (and not be ripped off).  The photos are accurate. These are spacious rooms and are extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. The TVs need updating and perhaps the kettle might need refreshing too, however, I would highly recommend this place to stay if you're a tourist or just needing to lay your head down for the night.  There was a Wi-Fi option which we didn't need. Ron explained everything and gave us extra milk for coffee too. A spacious room is hard to find in most modern hotels, this also had a couch and small table and somewhere to lay a suitcase.  Thanks to the host. 

A great overnighter

What a lovely motel with great facilities and good location. A spacious room, good access, lots of nice little touches, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Great value for money and flexible, friendly management. We were even given a map of Phillip Island and the tip to check in prior to attending the Penguin Parade.

Spacious, comfortable and great value

The perfect place to stay if you are visiting Phillip Island as the motel is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and pubs. The room was clean and spacious with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfy and the shower was amazing, great water pressure. Even though you have quite a busy road outside the property it was extremely quiet both day and night. The owners Ron and Joanne were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!

"Great Stay"

Stayed here once again.  Booked 2x queen rooms which had a Queen and a single bed in each room.  Rooms are neat, tidy and spacious.  Always clean.  Beds are comfortable.  The showers are great and have good pressure. Staff are friendly.  Great location for exploring Phillip Island.

Always great 

We had a wonderful nights stay last night. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfy, and we always appreciate a couch for added comfort. Loved the sea view from our door (we were in rm 9) - also loved the convenience of the mini-bar, they are honestly the best prices we think we’ve ever come across, so we made good use of it. Our host was wonderful and friendly, and we would absolutely stay here again. Definitely recommend the Quays for value, comfort, location and that welcome experience. Thank you!

Fantastic

The perfect place to stay if your visiting Philip Island. If its the GP track or the penguins .close to shops good parking great staff they couldn't do enough for us it was great and fantastic value for money .probably one nof the cheapest around

Great Host

As a older t10 paraplegic I now require a room with a accessible wheelchair toilet/shower. This at a great price fitted the bill. If your wanting 5 stars this isnt for you but if 3 and a bit stars is your go and you just want a nice clean tidy accessible room well this is it. Only a short drive or walk to the cafes/shops/pubs at San Remo and the bridge onto Phillip Island.The owners are very attentive to your requirements so if you think it may fit you ring or email them your questions and they will respond as they did for me with a couple of pictures of the room. Booking online was also brilliant as you can book the disabled room online like any other. Would I stay here again, yes certainly and I if I do I wouldnt bother looking elsewhere for accomodation

Trip to see Vietnam Vets museum

Absolutely outstanding service. Owners are lovely and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Easy check in/out. Bbq area for dinner Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Endless hot water. Cant fault this place we will definitely return. Thankyou for making our stay so comfortable =)

Short stay

Can help to leave a good comments even thou we are only going to check out tomorrow. 
Easiest check in ever as a traveler!!
Certainly not new but they have everything I needed.
That heater on the bed was awesome, we went watching the penguins in an unexpected cold
Night and the heater bed was in such great help for my kids !!!
Spacious enough and so convenient with family traveling in a car.
