Lovely presented room, comfy bed and quiet at night. Was a great location to spend the week. Very close to main street. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. West Wyalong is a friendly town and I just love the old facades of shops in the main street.

Perfect place to spend a couple of days!

We were arriving later than reception closing time but the motel owner waited for us which was appreciated. The room was immaculately clean. The linen on the bed was high quality and beautiful to sleep on The room was spacious . Generous supplies of teabags, sugars etc. Toiletries supplied. All excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent in every respect

Stayed here on Friday night 5 January 2024 on way to Brisbane.
The room was immaculately clean, it is the first time that I have seen a toilet with blue loo, towels very fluffy.
Bed was comfortable and pillows were really firm, not much noise from the highway.
Owners very friendly. Room had complimentary bottled water in the fridge. Would stay again

Best place to stay in West Wyalong, full stop. Working away is always better when you have good clean comfortable accommodation, Country Road ticks all the boxes. Great host hospitality, excellent BBQ facilities serve as the cooking area, microwave only inside rooms, suits me. No need to wash up, just clean up. Suits me.

Working away with a pleasent comfortable place to stay.

I stayed at the Country Roads Motor Inn for a substantial period and loved being there.  Trish and John were so welcoming and friendly we have now become friends. The rooms are immaculately clean, the linen is top class, and all other facilities are well maintained.  Nothing is too much trouble for John or Trish so don't forget to book your next stop at this motel, you won't regret it.

THE BEST

We went during lockdown to attend a funeral. The owners were fabulous and made the stay very comforting for us. 
The rooms were exeptionally clean and smelt of Lemon myrtle and even the blanket on the end of the bed was freshly launderd. 
The mini bar was the best value for money I have experienced and the breakfast orders were basic but again value for money and cooked to perfection.
We will stay here again when the family can be together again for a memorial service.

An overnight stay and I was pleasantly surprised that my choice turned out to be well located and spotlessly clean. Thanks Trish if I travelled that way again I would definitely stay and probably have one of your breakfasts next time, I read that they are pretty good.

Spotless and comfy

Under new management, Des and Trish welcomed us with great service and recommendations on where to go for dinner (Tatts Hotel for fresh and tasty food). Our room was super cheap but yet the best we have experienced for a roadside motel...immaculately clean, newly refurbished, luxurious beds and even a mini bar at reasonable prices! 
Trish and Des, you need to put up photos on this site of your new rooms 🤩I wish I had taken some now.

Perfect night stop in West Wyalong, the new management were so hospitable. The rooms were clean and stylish and well appointed. I loved my visit and can’t wait to return again. Country hospitality at its best. Thank you 

Oasis in West Wyalong

Friendly from the outset, followed it up with great rooms, excellent bed, perfect shower and above all genuine interaction. Des gave great restaurant recommendations and went out of his way to have a chat in the morning.  Would definitely recommend it and will return on our way back.
