White Beach

We spent 3 nights  at Sea Change Safety Cove in the 2br unit. We were welcomed with fresh flowers from the garden, home baked goodies and a bottle of local wine. The setting is stunning, with a beautiful garden, and outlook over the bay and private access path to the beach. The hosts Rex and Sue provide many little extra touches for guests’ comfort. Everything was comfy and warm.

Wonderful b&b close to Port Arthur Historic Site

We absolutely loved our two-night stay at Sue and Rex's home in Safety Cove. We booked the double room which was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We liked the 'basket breakfast' waiting for us, which meant we could eat whenever we wished. But the star feature of Sea Change is the setting, with glorious views from the verandah and garden across the sea towards Tasman Island, and also towards the picturesque sweep of Safety Cove beach. There are several places for guests to sit and drink in the vistas on the property;there's a private path from the garden to the beach, too. 

For us, this stay was the perfect combination of outstanding hospitality with the freedom to enjoy these long-loved family surroundings by ourselves. We felt privileged to have found this place.

We booked for 1 night and loved it so much stayed for 2.

This accommodation is located on Safety Cove with a walking track of about 30 steps to a pristine, gorgeous clean beach.  Lovely to walk around or walk on the rocks on the point of the accommodation.

We had a room with its own bathroom upstairs.  The bed was comfortable, with lovely bedding and beautiful white towels. Plenty of hot water and a bathroom with bath products and shampoo/conditioner and shower wash. TV was a flat screen and a DVD player with a box load of videos.

The owners Rex and Sue are extremely thoughtful and attention to detail hasn’t gone un-noticed.  Tea (all sorts), coffee (sachets, instant and plunger) Home made slices and biscuits etc.  the breakfast had a arrange or cereals, breads, home made jams, yogurts, fruit and much more.  Much more than we expected.

The views are amazing.  We had our own table and chairs looking over the water and beach, where we had breakfast.  There was 2 cane chairs with pillows and rugs looking over the ocean as well.  All in a protected glass veranda.  

A telescope is on the veranda as well.

There is a decking on the edge of the cliff with table and chairs and a BBQ if you feel like it. 

Rex was very  knowledgeable on the area and recommended a few things to do.  Quite a few brochures in our room as well which was very helpful.

Highly recommend. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Best location, great views

very nice guesthouse in a perfect location with unobstructed seaview and 30 meters walk away from a remote beach. very friendly host and the room perfect equipped. unfortunately we had only one night here.

A lovely spot for a 2 night stay. Very peaceful and lovely views across to Cape Pillar and Tasman Island. Pre dinner drinks and nibbles supplied for sunset viewing, and breakfast included in your room to have at your leisure. Easter Bunny even paid us a visit!!

Views to die for!

The accommodation here is self contained, we stayed in the bottom apartment. When we arrived the fire was going and we were greeted warmly by our hosts, the decor is cosy and the atmosphere was like a home away from home. We spent two days bush walking, sight seeing and while at Sea Change we spent some lazy hours on the deck over looking the ocean. We felt so comfortable here we really didn't want to leave! We will certainly be back next time we need to get away from it all.

Relaxed and rejuvenated 

A great location if your visiting Port Arthur. A bit dated but clean and comfortable. Great views and beautiful beach minutes away  rex and sue were lovely hosts .for the one night stand or a week it would be great 

Loverly location 

If you're going to Port Arthur, don't miss this B&B address. Located on the Tasmanian Sea, in a grand setting, a very flowery garden, absolute peace, and Rex always available to inform us, his wife Sue makes us a good breakfast that we take on the terrace in this exceptional environment.
