Absolutely fantastic! Conveniently located, clean, quiet and has all mod cons. The view is fantastic. Only downside is there is no door on the main ensuite, however it is tucked away so not a major deal. We’ve had a magical stay and will be back next year!

Lagoon Lodge 208

Hamorent was fabulous.  We stayed in Lagoon 206, in May 2023 , which was managed by Hamorent. The apartments are all privately owned, with different management, so choose carefully.
Hamorent ( Mary- the manager, Kim, Lorri and Cord) were all exceptional. Our stay was greatly disrupted by renovations downstairs (rm 106), directly below us. For example, there was persistent jackhammering, and vibrations in to the unit, so we had to leave the unit each day between 9am - 3.30pm as we couldn’t hear ourselves speak. That was such a pity, as the Unit had a beautiful outlook, and was lovely. 
The response from Hamorent was exceptional.  Although they couldn’t stop the work, the showered us with kindness, and provided a couple of outings to get us out of the unit. Very kind and thoughtful of them.
If you are thinking of staying at Lagoon Lodge, try any apartment managed by the wonderful people at Hamorent.  You won’t be disappointed.

Disaster averted by Hamorent

We stayed in Lagoon Lodge no.02.

The check in and check out procedure, and communication before and during the stay were all top notch. 
The apartment is spacious and in an excellent location, ground floor and minutes stroll to Catseye Beach, with its own pool. 

The images online are accurate and do it justice. The kitchen is well set up for utensils and more than enough instant coffee and tea bags.

 The beds are comfortable, but the secondary en suite has a broken shower arm that constantly droops and could do with attention. 

The TVs are cheap and you might want to pack a HDMI cable to connect your media. Yes, I'm both picky, and an Airbnb Superhost, so I found it weird that $750 per night accommodation wouldn't have enough dish washing liquid (four small packs) or dishwasher tabs (4), or toilet rolls (4) or washing satchels (3) for three people staying 7 nights.

When I was asked about top ups I was directed to the IGA. The last thing guests should be doing in a $5000 a week stay is having to buy their own cleaning products - skimping on a max $20 spend by the host is one of those things that separates a five star holiday from a four star one.

Great spot, lovely apartment with a few rough edges 

This apartment is listed as a luxury apartment …. It’s far from it . No mattresses protectors , pillow protectors or valances on mattresses . All furniture is tired and worn . Broken drawers in second bedroom . Tv in master not straight as the owners haven’t been bothered to buy an extension cord . Kitchen ware is all very old and worn . The couch is old and dirty . Door lock doesn’t work properly . Buggy supplied doesn’t have a front rain shield so you get drenched . Stay elsewhere ….. this apartment needs a major overhaul .

Lagoon Lodge 203 don’t bother

Stayed through Hamilton Holiday Homes and came with buggy. Couldn't fault the accommodation. Bathroom outdated but super clean. Apartment was spacious with lovely furnishing and great kitchen with quality appliances. Beds super comfy and the view amazing. Will definitely book again. Service from the Hamilton Holiday homes office was lovely. Quiet on the island currently so were able to check in at 11 and check out at 2. 
Can't wait to return!

The apartment is as seen in the pictures of Booking. It is very comfortable, spacious and clean. It has a very nice view of the beach and in the afternoon you will usually see wallabies in the garden of the apartment. The kitchen was super complete with all the kitchen utensils. It has washing clothes and also has BBQ on the balcony. The staff was very friendly. We searched the airport and the return, as our flight was delayed, we will be allowed to check out later. Although there is no housekeeping, they were always available for what we needed. and a boogey car, which was very useful to tour the island since there are no cars. consider Hamilton to be indispensable to be able to take advantage of everything we have to do on the island.

i have stayed at lagoon lodge on many occasions and the apartment 104 is simply the best. fully equipped kitchen. lots of toys for the children. beautiful decor, as well a a buggy. a must to get around the island, to explore every nook and cranny. there is a shuttle service free to the harbour/marina side of the island.

A beautiful view greets you as soon as you walk in the apartment. We had a top level corner apartment. Well appointed, comfortable, spacious. Laundry needs attention- mould evident, strong smell. 
Buggy included - big bonus! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. 

The best Family holiday 

Huge apartment!! 2 bedrooms, main is massive with ensuite and like a powder room area. Kitchen is awesome - one of the best - we had family in 2 other rooms and the configuration of their kitchens wasn’t as good or as big.

Spectacular view - though perhaps don’t get around in the nude with the curtains/sliding glass doors opened, as anyone and everyone walks right past as the grasses area that your patio leads onto is public space :)

I’d give the showers a 6 out of 10 - great pressure, though the head is low so if you’re tall you have to bend/kneel to wash your hair. Great water temps too!

These lodges are great value because they come with a buggy rather than you having to hire one.

Tip - if you think you have no cutlery, check the dishwasher!
