One pillow per bed, the thinnest pillow ever. I was sold a king size bed and a bunk bed for the kids. Got a double bed instead where you had the climb over the other half to get out. Plus jammed up against the wall greatly reduced the size of the double bed. I had to rearrange the room myself to make us all happy and to be able to get out of the bed without climbing over the other one. I had to show the staff that it wasn’t a king room despite being told on multiple occasions and on check in. Plus it was an inconvenience to get at least a bigger less worn out pillow for the double bed

Misleading 

Pulling in for fule and found ourselves booking in to the park  for thr night. We all so got free voucher for  a beer and wine when booking in
 We had power and water. And under our feet green grass. We went for tes, both of us had lamb cutlets. The meal was great. And yhr drinks cold.
Next morning we went for breakfast before heading off. It's  a must stay

One of the best

Located on the corner of the Stuart a d Carpentaria Highways, between Tennant Creek and Mataranka.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. A commodation available for campers, caravans, RV's, backpackers and in motel units.

Meals available in the tavern and fuel here also.

If you're after a clean, comfortable semi decent place to spend the night purely to sleep then this place is fine. If you're looking to spend a bit of time in here it's not. The rooms are a throw back to the 70s and could do with a refurbishment.

The main problems are the walls seem super thin. All you need is some cloven hooved mess coming home from a night of way too many UDL's stomping around the main hallway to wake you up and ruin your sleep.

At least the service was great, friendly, fast and efficient.

Decent service, old school hotel 

A Big thank you to David & Staff your hospitality was excellent we choose the Hi Way Inn because it was close to the Airport & the price was right for us, the room was clean & tidy, towels & sheets etc were spotless. Dining room was spacious, food very good.
No Complaints from us.

Great Place to stay Close By airport

not quite sure what the people rating this place highly received for accommodation but i agree with some of the dump descriptions from pparko -  my room was old , badly painted , looked like it was a converted store room with a old walk in freezer which the staff member told me was for storing dead bodies ! in fact it had lots of very smelly wet and mouldy doonas .  the bed was uncomfortable and i had a multitude of insect visitors across it during the night .  the staff did apologize and assure me that the room had just been pest controlled but i think the insects wern't aware of this .  i also found numerous creatures in the bathroom.  I have stayed in better places in Asian backwaters.  Definitely give this place a miss unless you are happy with a bad backpacker type experience. luckily i was only here for a very short visit .

3rd world countries have a higher standard of dump

Perfect for a budget, very clean rooms. Not the most modern place, but service and cleanliness are outstanding. 
Definitely recommend getting breakfast.

Perfect for a budget 

The staff here is super nice. The rooms are super basic - we had a queen/single bed combo room with our own bathroom. The bathroom also had its entrance door was a little weird but it was fine. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable - it was fine for our visit to Darwin. We had our own car, so the location was fine for us.

Basic room but comfortable

We spent 1 single night there with our 3 children (14, 11, 8 years old) for a stop when we arrived from Alice Springs late at night and before leaving the next morning for Kakadu National Park. We had 2 bedrooms side by side, basic with basic sanitary facilities, not charming at all...and especially very noisy! This motel bears its name well, it is very poorly soundproofed and borders the national highway (hyper passing even in the middle of the night). Choose it only for its price! Even the WiFi works very badly... I had chosen this hotel to be nearest to the airport: there are not many, but several (certainly more expensive) establishments are DANS the airport and our return to the airport.

Cheap but noisy and not charming

We stayed one night in this hotel, a pleasant reception, a spacious, clean and comfortable room, centered in the center, but it was precisely its location that interested us.
