We stayed two nights in the ANZ Room as two adults and one child.    The room was comfortable and the amenities were great.  Breakfast was available of either toast and spreads or cereal and a full kitchen if your wish to do your own. For Heysen Trail walkers this is a good stop and Wozza will also hold a food drop as he did for us.   Very friendly and helpful.

Great homely feel

Wozza was a real character and very hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble.It is most unusual to find very comfortable beds in reasonably priced accommodation. We did think that sharing bathrooms would be difficult, but even though all rooms were occupied, people showered at different times and it was not a problem. Well done Wozza. 

Quaint old building with comfortable beds!

Excellent place to bed down for the night. Donna has taken so much care to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The trouble she has taken for detail on the decor makes you feel as you are in a placed that is loved. Slept well and bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again.

Holiday

Good sized comfortable rooms. Breakfast of cereals and toast provided, and a full kitchen allows eating in as an option to the local pubs and cafes. 
A small improvement would be anti slip mats in both showers as tiles are slippery when soapy and wet. Denise and John ( hosts) were very helpful and allowed lock up of bikes overnight. The wood burning stove in the hall way kept the premesis nice and cosy.

Great location and lovely wood stove

Accommodation is very basic with shared facilities and kitchen, but room was spacious, clean and quite comfortable. It offers genuine value for money and a unique experience of staying in an old bank building. The only negative was the location of TV. It was perched quite high making it uncomfortable to watch when sitting in a chair. But I would stay here again anytime.

Great value and very comfortable

Melrose is just below Mount Remarkable, and a good base to access the national park. We enjoyed staying at the quirky old bank house for one night. The owner, Wozza, was very nice and helpful. The room was adequate and the double bed comfy. There were two bathrooms in total, to share by the guests. For breakfast, you could help yourself to bread, condiments and cereal in the kitchen. The tea bags and coffee provided were excellent. Wifi worked perfectly. The only thing a bit annoying was that the floorboards in the hallway were quite creaky, and other guests kept passing by our room at night.

Wozza's B&B: Accommodation with character

We stayed here for 2 nights on the way home from the Flinders Ranges.  Donna is a very welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed. We did 2 big hikes Alligator Gorge and Mt Remarkable Summit and coming back to a comfortable home with 2 pubs on the doorstep both with amazing food was very welcomed by us.
