We have just spent 3 wonderful nights here and even though the cold snap was bad we were cosy and warm in our bungalow. The property is a rainforest heaven with wildlife all around including cassowary and chick. The bungalow was well equiped  with all you could need and very clean. There was a bowl of fruit and breakfast goodies on arrival more than enough and a nice thought something we have not had in other places we have stayed. Our room was made up every other day a nice extra little something we did not expect. There is a lovely deck to sit and watch the passing wildlife and to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the property.
The owners Steve and Sharon are lovely and have taken every care  to make sure your stay is comfortable. they also take care of wildlife and are only too happy to chat about it if you are interested. we will most certainly return soon.

rainforest wildlife and great accomodation

Such a great stay at boutique bungalows. So close to the beach, so much wildlife around the property and amazing facilities. Each room/bungalow is private and is well equipped with a bbq, small washing machine, lounge area, extremely comfortable bed and more. The pool is beautiful at night time with twinkle lights. The owners are so great and also run a wildlife rescue so if your interested in animals they are great to talk to. Will 100% recommend to friends and will be returning on my next visit to mission beach!

Wildlife wonderland

Having read the wonderful reviews I had great expectations but the reality even exceeded those.  Boutique Bungalows is situated in a wonderfully peaceful location not far from the beach and surrounded by rainforest and wildlife, with wallabies jumping around outside the bungalows.     The bungalow itself was perfect - really comfortable and well equipped, and with all sorts of little extras that made it feel more like a home than a guesthouse.  It was so immaculately clean it looked as though everything was brand new. 

The owners, Steve and Sharon, provide a very warm welcome to guests and also do a fabulous job of caring for the injured wildlife in the area.  It really is a little bit of Paradise and I was sorry I wasn't staying longer.  I really do hope to return there one day.

Excellent Accommodation and Wonderful Location

​Our cabin was comfortable, clean and nicely furnished with a lot of attention to detail. Quite private and shady with lots of trees and plants.The welcome pack was a nice surprise - fruit, yoghurt, cereal etc. Good lighting inside cabin, we liked that there was plenty of rails to hang towels. No clothes washing allowed in unit which would have been good to know beforehand. Wallabies within a few feet of our cabin, so lovely to see.

From the moment we arrived,  this uniquely private paradise welcomed us with wildlife and a taste of fresh air with the highest emphasis on total peace and tranquility. Steve the host was so informative and provided us with a map of all the areas amazingly,endless rainforest and beach walks as well as the short walking distance  we had to local restaurants, the pub and grocery store. There are only a couple of bungalows on the property which means a total getaway and the only sounds you hear are the native wildlife such as unique birds and the marsupials eg. Paddy Melons, small Wallabies and much more. The Bungalows are presented immaculately and many, many treats and extras are provided and centrally positioned is the turquoise coloured inground pool. The owners are also keen wildlife carers and have a passion for rescuing, caring  for turtles and returning them to their natural habitat and  much more. We thoroughly recommend this beautiful oasis getaway and we will definitely be heading back again sometime soon. 

Weekend Getaway

I'm going to start with the coolest thing which is that the owners take care of pretty much all the wildlife in the area if they need medical assistance. They have a nice piece of property with a total of 3 cool bungalows where at mostly dusk and dawn, wallabies, bats and all sorts of wild life come out. Thanks Steve and Sharon!! 

Amazing bungalow (and owners) 

The bungalows were very clean and spacious. The property itself is absolutely wonderful!  It was as if we were in the rainforest! Wallabies sleeping under our bungalow! What more do you need. Close to the beach. Steve and Sharon are really great hosts, not only to the 'customers', but also to wallabies and other 'wild' animals that need help. An absolute gem! Best place we stayed during our trip in Australia!

Serenity in Tropical Paradise 🌴

B&B immersed in nature, there are 3 bungalows in total, very well maintained in every detail and equipped with every comfort. Breakfast on a terrace among palm trees, with the singing of birds and the jumping kangaroos is priceless! The owners are really very kind. Two steps from the beach but nearby a little squeezed for restaurants. Great b&b!

It's just great!

It's hard to say more than anything that's ever been said and written about this corner of paradise. Indeed, everything is perfect there. The owners are adorable and drain not only the travelers but also the birds of the region who come to nest there at night. The bungalows are perfectly furnished and the pool is wonderfully furnished. If this little Eden wasn't so far from France I think we'd come here more often to spend our weekends.
