Food - so very disappointed, 7 of us went out for a family dinner. Ordered cutlets, ribeye, fish of the day. Not one of our meals was delicious as usual. Lamb Cutlets were old and overcooked (did get a refund on these no problems). Vegetables were roasted, however looked tired and old, tasted dry. Steak was way too big & presented ugly, looked like slop. Fish was overcooked and dry! Really hope they improve soon so we can return as our regular eating venue. Have been eating here for years and never had a bad meal.

Food substandard

The best overnight stay ever, the room was spotless, attention to detail with toiletries, seat pads for the outside chairs..and then WOW the view onto the ocean was mindblowing, superb comfortable bed , we watched the moon come up, had the best night's sleep then woke to the sunrise..will definitely be back.

Most amazing view from a lovely room

Whilst the pub is good for a beer, with a good choice of beers, friendly staff, and a great view, the room I had was terrible.
The room had a glass door into a common area with no curtain, so no privacy and the sun blazed through at 5:45am.
The room also had no ventilation at all, the window could not be opened so I had to sleep with the door propped ajar.
There was also a kitchenette right outside the window, so I was awoken by people using the kettle and microwave throughout the night. 
Such a shame as the location is fantastic.


Worst hotel room I've ever stayed.

Ordered a double patty burger with mustard pickles etc. Sounded great so I declined the frys. Not something I would normally Order but Sounded great.
Whilst it tastes ok even if a little dry the presentation of this and my partners meal was fair removed from the description that was on the menu  and if seen in advance would have gone elsewhere.
Very nice view though 

Disappointing 

So love having lunch here….It has been a while, so happy that we returned…My beef burger was amazing, and his fish and chips were excellent…The pepper gravy was perfection…Must return again…Also, the staff are so helpful…Thank you to the pub on the hill🥂🥂🥂🥂 I forgot to mention the incredible views..


An amazing lunch

Went to the hotel for dinner last night. The staff were very friendly. The view from the dining area out to the beach and the sea is fantastic. That, unfortunately, was where the initial nice experience stopped. The food was so disappointing. House battered fish and Chips for $27.00 . ...Thin over fried chips with salad. 3 small 'fish finger' size pieces of battered fish with a couple of smaller size random pieces of fish. My wife's naked Vege burger for $20.00 was just as bad....one slice of tomato, one mushroom cap, with chilli jam and aoli on a bed of rocket. If this is the standard of their food, I can't recommend eating there

Great view, disappointing food

The Kids meals were great and came out quick as asked for, great value and good size. Unfortunately the other meals were forgotten about and after a long wait and having to ask to create a bit of panic and see where they were and why, no explanations or really not much of an apology, just didn't seem to care. I  can appreciate being busy but when you finally get your meal after an hour I think we were pretty gracious and patient.  Pretty good menu, the chips were great, may or may not go back....

Bit disappointing.

The room was recently renovated. Pretty small to what I’m used to but was really comfy.
Great spot to have dinner and a couple of drinks over looking the water.
Restaurant was a little over priced for a pub meal I thought. The steak was good the fish and chips was less than average. They don’t do breakfast which was a small let down but you’re in Yamba so plenty of spots do. Parking was an issue with no onsite parking and if the pub is busy you’re walking a ways to get in.

Very happy

Amazing position and on the cliff of a beautiful beach but let down by the room.  Was noisy, couldn't get the heating to work so not much sleep.  Tried to call the manager in the evening but zero response.  Nothing.  Left a message when checking out and still am yet to receive a response.  We will not be staying here again.

Disappointed

We had a lovely lunch and bottle of rose. They were very busy and the food took an hour however we didn’t mind with the view and talking together. Fresh seafood & tasty meals. Would come back for sure.
