Brilliant! Spotless room. Comfy. Friendly & welcoming owners. Handy to the pub which serves the BEST meals. 
My trip caused me to have a 2nd night away so coming back for a 2nd night was a no brainer. 

Excellent value for money

I stayed at the Yarragon Motel a month ago and was pleasently welcomed when I entered the office to check in (it was also open and attended after 5pm). I was then escorted to my room and shown to all amentites. The room was clean and tidy and had everything you need to make breaky. The bed was comfy and it was a nice stay. 

Definitly not newly renovated, but you could NOT beat the price ($100p/n) for a motel as good as this! Friendly staff and a beautiful town with lots of boutique shops, an awesome toy store, bakery, gallery, gifts and lolly shop. Love the area and would stay again.

Honestly..ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

Small boutique motel.  Very very clean, hosts are lovely people. Great service, helpful, absolutely cheapest in the general area, close to other facilities, nice little kitchenette, easy parking. This was a hiddent treasure and I could not find any faults..

Best choice

Whilst this is an older style motel, with older style fittings, it is scrupulously clean and very welcoming. We were in room 8, some way back from the road and road noise was not an issue for us. However, with the design we definitely could hear other cars as the arrived and left from the motel (parking is right outside the rooms). So we hit a night with very thoughtful neighbours and it was good and quiet for for us. If you’re sensitive to noise, then know that you might be taking your chances with whoever settles in next door to you (and the heater/cooler was pretty super noisy too). Likewise, if you’re sensitive to smells, the cleaning products used are fairly highly fragranced, which I personally found easier to manage than being somewhere that doesn’t smell sweet! So it’s lots of stars from me, and for the price a good deal. We were a little surprised it’s a 9.30 am check out (many places are a little later than that) as we were doing a fun run and didn’t have time to get back to the room and shower before needing to drive back to Melbourne but I think if I’d asked nicely, I may have been offered some extra time.

Older but clean and welcoming

Great basic room and very cost effective. Some road / train noise we could here but we still slept well.
Close to the local shops, cafe and the Yarragon Pub. 
Recommend to all for a local place to stay in the Yarragon village.

2020 Visit with Family

Had a fine 3 night stay after Christmas as a couple. We didn’t spend huge amounts of time in the room but it was comfortable with plenty of useful items; microwave, mini fridge, hairdryer, bedside tables, sofa, bench with chairs, tv, wine glasses, working aircon and free, fast WiFi. Exceptionally clean. The bed I found quite hard but managed to sleep and didn’t wake up sore. 

Exceptionally clean 

Enjoyed a couple of nights here, Location right in the middle of the main shops meant easy walking for meals and everything else. Great base for exploring the area. From arrival hosts were helpful, and available to answer many questions over the days that couldn't be answered elsewhere in the town. Room was well apppointed and comfortable and well set up, bed very good and all essential provided. Will stay there again soon.

Good location and quiet

Clean. Great showerwith lots of hot water. No presure issues.
Very good bed. Excellent value. 
Only 2 issues. Only one drinking glass in the room. Balck out curtain did not work,
losts of light in the room from outside light on walkway.


Overnight 

I stayed here for one night and it was fine. The room has everything you need, including plenty of storage space, and a microwave and crockery so you could bring your own breakfast.  The room could do with a bit of a re-vamp but was OK. There is no window at the back as the air-conditioner was put into the window, so it's hard to get air in, because the front window is behind two blinds. Quite clean but not perfect. Pillows were a bit below the standard one expects these days. The owner/manager was really helpful.

I think the photo on this page is misleading, as to my knowledge the motel does not have a restaurant. Perhaps the photo is of the Yarragon hotel.  

I am not sure about wifi. I found that the motel wifi needed a password, which wasn't provided. But I found free connection at  'Yarragon Gateway' so it didn't matter.

The location is great - visible from the highway but not noisy. I was a bit torn between three and four stars but settled on three.
