Made the booking 3 weeks upfront. Upon arrival at the roadhouse they told me they did not have my booking and are booked out due to the peak period. The staff couldn’t care less and told me that I will get the refund in few days.
Very rude and unsympathetic.

Disappointment is the only thing you will get from here.

Appalling and unsympathetic

The rooms are misrepresented on the website they are very small and have a layout representing a prison cell the room had triggered my asthma and needed a puffer the bathroom is more filthier than a gas station bathroom and it is also very overpriced costing 95$ a night for a dirty prison cell it is actually worth less than 30$ a night overall avoid this place if you like comfort or a relaxing time there are nearby hotels with much better value for money

Filthy and very noisy

We were stay for a night on the way home as too tired to drive and want a shower and bed.We booked at 3 pm online then checked it at 9.30pm....we paid $95 and can't even sleep too dusty!! My partner keep sneezing all night the bedsheet is the worst very itchy so after shower and tried to sleep for a few hours we decided to just drive home.I was going to book another place but since we planned to stay there from only 10pm-5am so decided to book here at $95 instead of $125 wrong decisions!!

Not worth it $95

We chose this Motel as it was close by to where we were visiting. After reading the available reviews, we were a little hesitant at first to use it for a couple of overnight stays. However, having read a lot of reviews relating to accommodation and holiday locations, we knew the only real way was to try it out for ourselves.  Surely it couldn't be that bad!!

The one thing we have learned, is that people so many times go in with way too high expectations!  Now, as for the Yetholme Motor Inn, this appears to be the case again!

For a start, you are not booking into a 5 Star Hotel, it's not the Ritz.....the cost will tell you that....it is in fact the Yetholme!!!  We arrived late at night and found the staff in the all night Diner to be happy and friendly.  We were processed quickly and efficiently and shown to our room.  We quickly settled in and headed for the bed so we could make an early start the next morning.

After spending two nights in this motel, we are quite sure we would be happy to stay there again if needed. 

Pros:  Comfortable, clean and convenient for us.  We had no trouble sleeping soundly and were not disturbed by traffic noise. The price was right and we considered it good value at short notice.

Cons:  We booked through booking dot com and the information there indicated that you receive a complimentary breakfast with a queen room.  This turned out to be incorrect, but they offered us 10% discount on a purchased breakfast that we didn't take up.  However, when we were leaving they gave us a complimentary mocha coffee.  The tables and one chair were a bit old and tired, but it didn't really trouble us.

Summary:  The location suited us well, it was clean and comfortable with friendly staff and we would be happy to stay there again.  Our experience was 4 Star (the motel itself would rate somewhere between 2 & 3 Star) and we found it to be excellent value.  We know that with accommodation and food you will never please everyone.  Just remember you are paying only $89 for a twin room or $95 for a Queen.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again...

This motel offers very poor service, the amenities very meagre or not existent at all. Price is prohibitive in relation to the service, one chair in a double bed room with very tiny table, no spoons and forks, no facial tissues, toilet paper is very poor quality. If you want to use hair blower you still walk to the office and ask them. Ridiculous written signs about fines... Etc. very disappointing !!!
For the price we paid this is the worst motel in Australia that we have ever been to.

Yetholme Motel

Almost didn't book based on reviews, but it was perfectly OK. Clean and comfy bed, aircon warmed up quickly, plenty of hot water, not too much road noise (it's on the highway, what do you expect?). Good value if you are just passing through, and not bad coffee at the servo!
