I'm not much of one to complain but this place was just plain terrible. I mean honestly the staff couldn't have been any ruder. The facilities were run down and poorly maintained. The worst thing of all was the rude and unhelpful staff.

Terrible.

Staff were rude and completely unhelpful. Took no care to meet social distancing requirements. I will never be returning to these facilities. they were unclean, uncared for and frankly not what expected.

Awful staff. The worst.

Apparently the staff do not want to actually work here and should possibly think about getting out of the service industry. Not sure what allows them to be so rude to a guest, but truly I would suggest staying anywhere other than this accommodation, even for one night!!

Don't stay long

The reverse cycle AC didn't work, it was _4.
I rang the number and was bluntly told to go find the receptionist.
Went to reception,  no one there, txt the assist number only to recive a patronising message telling me I must have set it wrongly.
Returned to reception to find u guy in the room behind using an exercise machine, he didn't get up to greet me or say hello, told me I had to find the receptionist who would be in the garden.
This site is use to accommodate nurses like myself, I had worked a 10 hour night shift.
Whe I found the lady she was very brittle and abrupt, told me I must've set it wrong, she the set it the way I had and could see it blowing cold, she insisted I wait 30 mins to see if it gets warm which I declined as I'd already dome that.
Then she ramps up into a big long dialogue about how nurses are The worst guests and never use heaters properly, initially refused to give me a heater in case I cause a fire !!!
Then reluctantly gives me a heater along with another monologue about how bad nurses are and how I'm not to go out and leave it on.
Then on top of this a rude TXT message from the support.
Faulty Towers meets York WA.
Nice location, rooms quite nice set up and decor, shame about the hostile, rude staff.

Freezing and very rude staff

Obviously we were upset and they went out of their way to make things easier for us.  Even an earlier breakfast to enable us to attend to things needed.  They suggested we wear rosemary from their garden.  

We went here a few years ago as we were attending a funeral.

This is a very comfortable,  somewhat rustic B&B, within easy walking distance to the main street. On site parking and outdoor play area & mini golf for kids. The highlight was the breakfast which is cooked to order, plus the usual cereal, fruit, toast and beverages. The dining area is large and comfortable and the owner/host is very obliging and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this property.

Ticks all the Boxes

This B&B is situated opposite Trinity Church, a 5 minute walk over the swing bridge to the centre of the town. Debbie the hostess is a font of information and cooks an excellent breakfast. Our room was spacious with a king size comfortable bed and a decent size en suite. There was also a single bed. Tea and coffee are provided as well as a microwave, cutlery and crockery. There's no wardrobe but a coat rack (no hangers) is provided. The single bed has drawers underneath. The room is not serviced during your stay but clean towels etc are provided on request. The garden area has activities for children, there's a barbecue area with table and chairs and also a laundry. The (free) wifi is very weak in the bedrooms. There's one accessible room.

Comfortable B&B

Such a cute and quirky B&B, we stayed in the family room...2 Adults and 2 teens and it was perfect.  From the Bedspread to the Bathroom it was very homey.  Hosts are delightful, breakfast was yummy and there were Swan's in every form all over the place.  Gardens are so interesting, with all sorts of creatures hiding amongst the flowers..familys with small children would love it....Pool, Mini Golf, Playground and Cubby.  Short picturesque walk into town over the swing bridge

Cute and Quirky

This is a wonderful little B&B in the historic township of York about 1.5hrs drive east of Perth.  We were visiting for the mediaeval pageant and stayed one night only, but would have been happy to stay longer.  The rooms are ideal for 3 people and extremely clean and tidy, with a nice outdoor area and lovely gardens.  Breakfast is excellent and Debbie could not have been more friendly and helpful.  There's mini-golf and darts and even a small pool and trampoline to keep the kids occupied.  Great value and highly recommended - we will be back.
