Mayerling is a one-horse town, and this is where the horse sleeps. But he gets well looked after, with clean rooms, friendly staff and good food. It's also right next to the old Schloss, which is really the only reason you would ever come here.

Just about the only place to stay in Mayerling

Stayed one night here, lovely hotel, nice room with a balcony, good food, very good service.  Lots of nice decorative touches throughout the hotel.  Nice to be in a hotel with character.  The owner is such a nice friendly guy.  Definitely recommend this place.

Lovely hotel and restaurant

Clean comfortable nice dekorated room with balcony. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Good working wifi. Beers wine and food were both very good. The place is lovely. If i am back in Mayerling again i will visit it again.

Decent place lovely small hotel

i was living in mayerling with a friend for some time. he got a broken water pipe and we had to go somewhere else. it was our first choice and we regret it. after a few days of troubles we left to itzinger . . .

Stopped in for a beer after visiting the chapel at Mayerling next door. Decor is wonderfully traditional: antlers and romantic portraits of the tragic couple Prinz Rudolf and his mistress Mary Vetsera. Nice place to wait for your taxi.
