We were with friends at this hotel, which according to the homepage is a small, fine and very private garden hotel, and it was actually small and very fine! The hotel (there are parking spaces reserved for guests right in front of it) is very close to the centre of the spa resort and not far from the huge spa. It consists of the Villa Gleichenberg (where we have lived) and the Gleichenbergerhof (where the restaurant reception and the building are located); the buildings are connected by a covered bridge.

Small, fine hotel, beautiful island of relaxation

It's a family-owned hotel. Gerti and Reinhard take care of every guest. The rooms are beautiful and the spa area with a pool is unique for the size of the house. The kitchen is organic certified. Once you enter the house, you feel at home. The farewell was hard. We'll be back.

Sensational and not too big

This lovely villa is run by the friendly host couple Kaulfersch with great dedication. It's a place of peace and relaxation where you can really enjoy a nice start. An excellent organic food and a beautiful wellness area round off the whole thing.

Quiet, dreamlike food and warm service

We made a short trip to the sturdy factory and searched for a free hotel room nearby for a long time until we landed this perfect landing. 15 minutes away by car from the factory. Villa Gleichenberg is convinced by its small and family-owned operation. The food is delicious and everything is organic! The hotel's own heated outdoor pool is very beautiful and you can also relax wonderfully in the saunas. Our room was bright and very clean. You feel well-attended there and the well-being of each guest seems to be a concern for the employees. Very much to recommend!

It's small, but oh!

Small hotel in a wonderful location. Charming youth style villa with wonderful wellness area (sauna, steam bath, rest areas, massage), beautiful garden with sufficient shade and beds as well as an outdoor pool with heated water. Family Kaulfersch operates their hotel with incredibly much heart and commitment, the unremitting effort for the guests remains in memory. Wonderful breakfast buffet, wonderful salad buffet ambar, excellent dinner! No snack snack, no edible deco á la balsacreme, no matter too much and no little, but simply no delicious food, at which one tastes that it has been cooked.

It's just wonderful!!!!!

Very friendly and family friendly, simple rooms, somewhat barren bathrooms but with a nice big terrace. Unusual these days: open bar, you take what you want and write it down - on a trusted basis.

That's nice.

We've been there twice already - and certainly not for the last time: the hotel of manageable size is quite different from the usual hotel chains and boxes of today: everything seems to be organized in a family business. But in turn: Located right in the extensive parking area in the center of Bad Gleichenberg. Access (if you've ever found it) is easy. Parking spaces are available, and when you complete the roof, it may be a little more difficult.

Steyrish Kindness

I had a meeting with colleagues and we stayed in the hotel Villa Gleichenberg for three days. We were taken care of in a warm but professional way by the owner. Indeed, this is family-run small hotel with a small SPA section characterised by an extremely clean setting, highly relaxing thermal pool, sauna and steam bath, etc. The breakfast, with home made bread, was a perfect start of the day and the dinner in the evening a perfect way of ending the day. Bio-certified. Quite and peaceful atmosphere,highly recommented to all who want to relax.

Great stay...

This family-owed boutique hotel is located in the center of the town in a peaceful location overlooking the park. I had a wonderful stay in the Villa, the hotel also has a very well kept private spa area (heated thermal-water outdoor-pool, sauna and steam-bath). Make sure to stay half-board in order to not miss out on the superb cuisine of the owner's wife.
