Unfortunately, the house is no longer free-standing, so my living room gave the view of the neighbouring apartment block. The narrow balcony exit was then also the only window, so the room was not only very narrow, it was also dark. I found this a pity and is not mentioned anywhere. Otherwise, nice host, the breakfast buffet was okay.

Price - performance OK

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. We liked the rooms and equipment very well. Especially the bathroom was new with shower. Also the breakfast was excellent. There was nothing missing. The host gave us numerous tips. Not to mention the mountain trains and bus were free. We would book the hotel again.

Super friendly host and a really nice and cozy accommodation with a great balcony and mountain view! There are daily trips and hiking routes recommended by the family. I have been there for the third time in a row and I always feel very comfortable at the Garni Madrisa Hotel!

Very well located, in the centre of the village, with quiet, renovated bedroom and bathroom, beautiful views of the village, a pleasant and tasty breakfast, very friendly owner.

It's a nice stop in Brand.

Great location, brilliant service and high quality accommodation (with authentic and traditional touches). 

Ingrid is originally from the U.K. and Alwin is from Brand, so knows all the local places and we appreciated the bilingual hospitality 

Madrisa is a short walk from the Dorfbahn (village ski lift) and close to all the shops, bars and restaurants but still has plenty of parking. 

Rooms were furnished to a high standard, everything was clean and seemed new (recent refurb?) but still retained a lot of Austrian charm, with plenty of traditional alpine touches.

When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the grandmother of the house when I entered my room, and the cot with a dog blanket was also provided for my dog.

Familiar and very decent.

Family-run Hotel Garni, very lovingly furnished and very friendly. Super central location and a very fine breakfast buffet in the morning. We enjoyed our ski holiday greatly, not least because of this accommodation! In the summer we will certainly explore the Brandnertal in the near future and here we start our first inquiry :-)

Top Hotel Garni in central location

I had a very nice reception. I received valuable tips for my visit to the bike park. I liked the renovated hotel. The room was very nicely renovated and also very clean. I would definitely book again.

Very nice hotel with nice owners

A real star-crawler, here we were waiting next to a large room with a state-of-the-art bathroom, a giant balcony that could be turned into a winter garden. The breakfast buffet was packed with high-quality food that was filled over and over again. Tea and eggs were brought to the table. The landlord gave daily information about hiking destinations, land and people and was always in a good mood. The location of the house is perfect, both hiking destinations and local shops and bus stops were within walking distance. All this at a really fair price. For us, the best house for a long time.

Absolute recommendation in the Brandnert valley

We spent two nights on a summer weekend at this wonderful pension, located right in the center of Brand. 
The room was spacious and clean, not modern, but there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Besides, the owner told us he plans to renovate the rooms in the near future. The bathroom on the other hand was recently renovated, so it was brand new. There was also a terrace with a table and chairs; nice place to read a book while enjoying the view.
The breakfast was quite simple, but good, we didn't need more. 

From the pension it is easy to reach Lünersee by bus, which is free of charge with the guest card received from the pension or by car; it takes just a couple of minutes. There are a lot of areas for hiking around Brand.

The owners are wonderful, we enjoyed a lot talking to them.

We would definitely recommend this pension!
