After a thorough search of mushrooms and also finding a place to stay at the bakery, you can find a kitchen with local products, a nice garden, and a good price for seasonal specialties.

Good quality kitchen

Good civic and rural cuisine, large portions of friendly staff, fast service and a wide selection of drinks. A visit to Styria is definitely worth it.

A great country house.

In the Alpengasthof Messner - a pure family business - the woman of the house cooks. And she cooks well and abundantly. Your salad tastes especially good to me - much comes from your own garden and her cakes, such as the black-bear dessert. Unfortunately, the menu gets a little smaller from year to year. Hauer lacked, for example, backhandl and grilled juice. But at breakfast you've been on the safe side for years. It's been the same for years and consists of a slice of butter, 4 slices of cheese, 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of extraurst, 2 slices of tiroler, 2 slices of this on an ice cream, 4 slices of tomatoes and 4 slices of cucumbers and 4 paprika. And 2 slices for a common T.

well-bourgeois rural cuisine

In the autumn we spent two days in the beautiful Alpine garden of Messner. The time was very pleasant. A friendly and helpful host, a clean room with a balcony with a beautiful view. Excellent regional cuisine. A beautiful garden. A visit to the Soboth reservoir is recommended. If the opportunity arises, we will surely return here.

It's cozy.

On our way from Austria to Slovenia we were lucky to stump upon this lovely gasthoff. The view is magnificent, the staff is polite and welcoming and the food is authentic. I would hesitate staying here again. 

Wonderful location and staff

It's worth taking a detour from the main roads to stop at this wonderful hotel in the mountains. Quiet and convenient for walking around. Great for family relaxation. We've been there several times and we'll be back.

Clean rooms and excellent kitchen! We were a small group with our old-timers and had chosen this accommodation. We were not disappointed. Everything was clean and practical. The food was excellent and the owner was extremely helpful with planks and special requests.

Heavenly tranquility and very nice hosts

The hotel is located on a hilltop 900 meters up in the highlands with a magnificent view of the surrounding area.
The interior is a bit dated - and that includes the rooms, but the place is clean and tidy.
The balcony that comes with room is reality useless as you have people on both sides of you almost sitting in your lap and just by standing on your balcony you can see the beds in three rooms including your own.
That, s a serious drawback as the the view towards the valley and the mountains is fantastic.
Staff at the hotel is very friendly and forthcoming and food in the restaurant is great and plentiful and comes at a reasonable price
