I spent 2 days with my friend at Kaiser Lodge and was amazing. I booked a room with lake entrance. Receptionist surprised was with upgrade to a 2 floors apartment. Luckily the weather was really nice sunny and warm. All afternoon we were swimming and sunbathing at natural lake. Breakfast is nice combination of buffet and service breakfast. Food was really good quality- organic/bio. Receptionist Verena was really friendly she gave us nice recommendations for dinner in the village.

Amazing

We wanted to do something different this Christmas so we booked a 2 night stay in a two bed/2 bath apartment with mountain views (4 people). Everything looked great online & the reviews were good. The Kaiserlodge did not disappoint! The room was fantastic, everything was extremely high-quality from the workmanship of the decorating & woodwork to the furnishings, to the bathroom products. The views were beautiful, it was just a shame we didn’t get chance to use the lovely wrap around balcony. We had two evening meals in the restaurant both of which were excellent; lovely well presented food & friendly helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. We also had breakfast on both days; also excellent with plenty of choice for everyone. The spa was well equipped with a sizable indoor pool with the option to swim outside, 3 sauna’s (steam, sauna & infrared) & numerous showering facilities. There were plenty of loungers & a quiet room – all with stunning views. We are a family of frequent international travelers having collectively visited almost 100 countries & been fortunate to have stayed in hundreds of high end hotels.  The Kasierlodge compares favorably with the very best places we have stayed; we can highly recommend. 

First Class Experience!

Excellent 3 day stay in mid September during some stunning weather. Friendly staff, gorgeous food at reasonable prices, impeccable room (we had the small mountain room but there’s nothing small about it) and the wrap around pool is one of a kind. Highly recommend! We will be back soon for sure.

+ Tasty food but not so many choice if you stay longer than 3 days

- Not playroom for small children under 3 years. I think some room with toys and for relax is missing.There is playroom for older children.We dont need club,we need some place when we can sit,drink coffee and our son(2 year) can play under our control.

Beautiful vacation!

We really enjoyed our two week stay at Kaiserlodge, even though it was the "Plan B" after our US trip fell through due to COVID-19.  After staying at home for so long it felt strange to visit a hotel, but due to the spacious public areas and facilities we were immediately at ease upon arrival.  At no time did the hotel feel crowded, and we loved the natural swimming pond as well as the indoor pool.  Our 2 bdrm apt provided enough space for a family of 4, sufficient kitchen facilities to prepare breakfast and easy dinners, and we took advantage of the private sauna found on our terrace.  A supermarket, several restaurants and a small cafe and bar are within walking distance.  Two e-bike rentals are also immediately in the vicinity.  In addition to the many hiking and biking tours we made, we were close enough to Munich and Innsbruck to make city trips on days when the  mountain weather was less stable.  And of course the Wilder Kaiser provides an impressive backdrop to the amazing scenery nearby.

The only slight flaw is the quality of the restaurant.  We would have eaten there more often but found some of the dishes lacking.  It's still a good backup on days you need to eat on site and don't want to cook - perfectly serviceable but don't expect to come here for the cuisine.

Finally, I have only the best compliments for the entire hotel staff - excellent service and attention to detail by all the staff.  Even though we have an apt and they stated cleaning is extra, at least they came every day to clear out the garbage and provide new towels - service above and beyond my expectations.  Excellent job, Kaiserlodge!

Wonderful hotel, wonderful location

The place was gorgeous, from the staff to the rooms, everything was great.
Beds were extra comfy and clean. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided in the kitchen with the rest of the amenities.
Food is delicious at the restaurant, they have a selection of ready made sandwiches too.
The only downside was that there were no fans in the rooms or the apartment since the place was designed for cooler weather.
One of three bedrooms had a small window that lacked the ability to get air circulation. This was the only fault of our stay.



Beautiful place

The place is brand  new. The hotel is a nicely decorated, and you feel the relaxing atmosphere in every aspect. 
Nice pool to relax after a day of skiing. 
The room is equipped with a kitchen and a dining table which is helpful. The staff is polite and helpful. Indoor parking is an extra bonus if you have a car. 
Breakfast is a la carte (you pay what you order) and we skipped it. 
What we did not like: 
They charge 15 Euros for room service - regardless if it just a single coffee or a full meal the room - service is 15 Euros. This is ridiculous, it doesn't make sense. 
Additionally the restaurant's menu should be improved or the prices of the dishes should be reduced.... or maybe both! 24 Euros for a (too salty) simple schnitzel was maybe a bit too much.

In general skip restaurant and room service and you will have a great time !

Great resort in a small quite village

What a fabulous place, I don't want to leave. 
It's gorgeous, and well made but also very relaxed and friendly. 
The apartments have everything that you need. For me, the only thing missing is a sofa area for relaxing. But we had 3 balconies! We had a lake suite, perfect for 2 families, each family had their own sleeping area suitable for 4 with their own bathroom.

There is a natural outside pool, and a rooftop pool. Both fantastically constructed and luxurious in feel.
There is a kids indoor area & cinema room plus an incredible outdoor playground, you honestly can't ask for more.

Scheffau is lovely. Make sure you go to the free music which runs every Thursday evening in summer. We had beer & sausages & a lot  of fun! We have been amazed at how family friendly the whole area is. At the top of every gondola there seems to be a free family attraction eg a play area or water area or treasure hunt. You pay quite a lot for the lift pass but the free amenities at the top make up for it! 

I cannot recommend this enough for a fabulous family holiday in the mountains.


Perfect!

Kaiserlodge is a very pleasant hotel with lots of common space and lots of wood, inside and outside. The wood fits well to the Tyrolian/alpine surroundings – though a bit less wood wouldn’t do any harm…

The look at the hotel’s façade from the terrace (with the natural pool in front) is as impressive as on the pr-pictures.

My room was ok, but had no balcony and only a modest view to the hill at the back side.

Biggest drawback: The duvet is purely synthetic (polyester). At a five star hotel!! Not good for my sleep comfort and enough to not come back.

And another (minor but unusual) slip: When taking out the room key from the main switch, the light turns off instantly. Most modern hotel gives a some 20 second respite to leave the room.
