The hotel's location is beautiful, on a working farm surrounded by mountains.  It's on the edge of town so it should be quieter, but there always seemed to be some sort of hammering going on during the day.  The breakfast selection was ok.  The owner seemed a bit put off by the fact that we were American, until she realized we spoke German, then she was much warmer.  They allowed us to have our dog in the room for only 4 euro per night.  Awesome.   The wifi was spotty.  The rooms were comfortable, but lacked some amenities.  For example there was a coffee maker, but no coffee.  The bathroom had no hand soap, so we used the shower gel. Little things.  But truly we had a good stay and the price was right!

Solid, but unspectacular.  Good value.

Great views, very nice people, magnificent horses, intimacy, 15 km to the gletscher, good food. I hope i'll be back some day. We stayed almost one week and enjoyed every minute of it. We also used the pool (5 minutes away from Margretenhof) and it was like ' the cream on top of the cake'! Warm, clean and quiet. We will certanly return one day.

Once a year ' must have' holiday.

we were there just for one night, however were very satisfied with the service and ameenities. Pension is a part of a farm house where cows, pigs, sheeps and other farm animals can be seem. recomended for families and kids
