We stay here for a week in june 2019  with family and my dog 
We are as at home
Prices are very good 
A fantasic hotel with fantastic people good food good position it will be a pleasure to return

Basic hotel but room was kept clean. It was very fresh one day when I returned from skiing and patio door was left open by the cleaner!
I was all inclusive but lunch was just bread and soup but I wasn't officially allowed to have soup on my first day as my all inclusive didn't start until dinner 6pm. As I left after breakfast on my last day, I only counted 6 lunches that were given to me on a 7 day stay so thought It was a bit mean and petty. Not much choice but food was tasty. Staff are friendly and hotel view was excellent but a good 30 minute walk into town. There is a courtesy van to take guests to the slopes every day apart from Saturday. Skis can be left in a storage room that has a heater. When I compare the cheap price that I paid and the service given then I'd say it's good value for money but I'd pay a bit more and be closer to town next time. In general I enjoyed my stay and Bad Gastein is beautiful.  

They owe me a bread and soup :-)

Good hotel and rooms, nice and helpful service, delicous food especially soups. Beautiful view from every room in hotel, nice little town. Perfect place for skiing and for walking. Surely come back again.

Pleasant  trip in beautiful surroundings

Room: We were on the top floor - lift to 3rd Floor and 1 more up, or a nice walk up or down :-) They are cleaned daily, which is fine. The balcony door was a bit tricky - the opening device is on the left with the handle on the right. 
General: We were lucky with the weather and the walks. Great views from the lifts to the tops of the mountains around.
Restaurant: Breakfast is exactly what I expect in a hotel - some vegetables, a bit of fruit, cold meats and cheeses, perhaps an egg in some form. The coffee is decent and the juices were fine as was the mineral water.
Lunch was a soup and roll. This is pretty normal here - soup and salad was what people had for lunch on the tops of the mountains too. 
Dinner was good. Not always what I prefer, but good and you would get the same in town for a high price. 
Location: A bit out of town - the bus 555 runs once an hour from around the corner and takes 10 minutes (5 minute walk up hill and down the other side - at the Alpinblick). It took us 25 minutes on foot into town, about an hour on foot back. But the bus runs up to the Alpinblick as well :-) We had a miscommunication with the travel agent and the woman here actually came to the train station for us - she was very helpful in general :-) There is a ski lift just below Alpinblick, so everything is in reach. It is merely farther into town or to other skiing areas. 
Service: We had no problems with service. The two people who serve food were very nice and easy to work with. The reception staff was great. It was no problem to get whatever we needed.

Summer hiking

Older hotel. Not a problem in itself. Unclean though. Panties from previous guest under the bed. Breakfast decent, dinner (buffet) very mediocre and plain, e.g. whipped cream in a spray can. Overall service can best be described as indifferent.

Shuttle service (500 m uphill to closest bus stop) to ski lifts was inflexible and of insufficient capacity as compared to the number of guests staying at the facility. It also did not run on Saturdays
