Excellent place, good parking, very quiet. Perfect for who is searching a quiet place to a very reasonable price. The owner is very nice and helpful, it was a pleasure to stay here and for sure i will stay again!

Nice little pension, very clean and newly decorated.
Minor disadvantage is that is it about 7km from from Graz city centre or some 2-3 km from Andritz centre where the tram to Graz terminates. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and it runs about every half an hour. 
Otherwise it is very tranquil location on quiet road, overlooking fields and hills.

The single room was smallish but perfectly acceptable for one or two nights. The mattress was very comfortable too. Good internet connection and plentiful breakfast. Parking just opposite the hotel. 
Nice owners and in general very pleasant stay.

Pension Scherwirt is a very well run, friendly and welcoming small hotel on the outskirts of Graz. We stayed for a week in 2014 on a mixed business and pleasure trip, and the hotel made us very welcome and accommodated early morning starts and late check in without any issues. 

Pricing is very fair and food and accommodation are excellent. Hygiene standards are first class and the surrounding area is very pleasant and non-tourist. Transport links to central Graz and surrounding areas are superb - there is a bus stop at the hotel front door that links to tram and local rail systems where a €3 fare gets you 24 hours unlimited transport.

We stayed for 4 nights and found the Pension suited our needs exactly. Pension is decorated with lovely furnishings.
Familie Vidovic was extremely helpful in advising and supplying us with all the information we required, maps, timetables etc.The Pension is located approx 7 kms from Graz and an easy bus and tram ride away. Bus stop right outside the Pension. Our room, was super clean and adequate for our needs.On site parking was great. Wifi included.
Breakfast was great and more than enough before a day of sightseeing.
We used the local bus and trams mostly, very easy to get around as driving in Graz can be challenging.
We visited the Eggenberg Palace, beautiful gardens. The Armoury, The Schloss, Cathedrals and all the lovely little streets and cafes.
A great stay in Graz and the pension is a great place for all types of Travellers.
We look forward to a return visit.

I stayed there for a night, and was totally surprised by the staff friendliness, and especially by its cleaness. The room is spacious, very comfortable, amazingly clean in the bathroom, veryyyyyyy clean :p , very quiet, with nice variaty of bfast (Muesli, Joghurt, bread, tea, coffee, juice, jam, sausages, cheese, etc)  the price is not expensive. Has plenty place for parking lot & free of charge. Definitely I will stay there again:)

If you want great value and luxury at affordable prices then go for Pension Scherwirt. It is a good option for all types of travelers. I stayed here for business and the place exceeded all my expectations. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Amazing furnishings and lovely curtains made the room more beautiful. Washroom was clean and functional. Not only the staff, but the owner too tired their best to serve their guest. I will definitely recommend it.
