We're usually not big critics, but now we have to. We've been here as guests about 15 years ago, and we were very satisfied then, and rather disappointed today. First of all, the good thing is that the servants are friendly and the bathtub is beautiful. However, after the first round of the dinner, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. Quantitatively, there are enough 7 g, but the quality is not very high, but rather satisfying, and you could just as easily cook at home. The first night was very difficult because our adult daughter had to sleep on a sofa bed, and this bathtub was filled with various drinks.

Hotel for non-gourmets

In June 2023, my daughter and I went to the Zapfenhof for the second time after 2021. The pool facilities, the beautiful garden facilities and the cleanliness of the rooms were already pleasing to us at the time. In 2021, I complained about the really bad food on the way out and ran into the owner's astonished faces. Since my daughter (due to the lovely Zillertal) was also constantly overwhelmed by the holiday in Tyrol, I tried again this summer and since a great long weekend with sunshine was predicted, I booked something with a great pool landscape.

Plant, concept and staff OK - Gastronomy absolutely underground

Nice hotel with various pool facilities. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished (no fridge). The bathroom is large. The restaurant still has plenty of air upstairs. We've been to the bar many times and it hasn't been much done with the food. Always the same. If you're not at the first one, there's almost nothing left at the buffet. The prices of the wines are rather. The bar is nice and clear.

Nice hotel with pool facilities

Our room on the top floor, facing south, was unique! Greatly equipped, bathroom, toilet separated! The room is very clean, room service is incredibly fast. Simple top! I think the hotel would have earned 5 stars already. In the evening a very friendly staff served dinner with 7 to 8 guests! The food was excellent every day!

This is the third time we've been to Zapfenhof and we've been surprised by the kindness of the entire staff.

This is a very gut hotel : excellent welness, excellent food, very nice breakfast. This hotel is outside the centre, it is a very nice place, quiet and beautiful. The family and staff is always there to help you.

Ski vacation

Hotel looks better than it is. We didn't really feel comfortable in this hotel what we usually don't find difficult in Tyrol. At HP it is advertised that you get all the bathing gear (coat and shoes) available but it is not pointed out that this is only the case when booking directly in the hotel - when booking via court trips etc. This is not the case. The receptionist can decide nothing at all on her own. Need for everything the chef. The food was so muchlala... especially advertised with the fact that it is organic and on demand out that half of it is not. Rooms are ok... but ok. Something old-school the guests all very loudly too. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a lot more to use due to the weather.

Disappointing

After a long time, we drove back to the bar. We were warmly welcomed by Dusko (barman and good soul), who recognized us at once. In the natural pond, food and drinks can also be ordered, not on plastic dishes, but in porcelain plates and glass. A super service that is immediately done by Dusko with a friendly smile. The staff is as always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are partly very nicely renovated. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the cleanliness. What is incomprehensible, the children had a lot of fun and played in the hot tub, we had no opportunity to relax in the hot tub. In the evenings we are reminded of extra decent clothing, the reception of hot tubs is not possible. The hotel has no longer had a clear view of the air and races, and the hotel has no fountains, and the hotel does not have a view of the races and races.

The price is right. The room and bathroom were very clean, of course the spa and restaurant were also very friendly and helpful, the staff were very friendly, we had a very nice holiday. A heartfelt thank you to everyone.

Summer holidays

The food was excellent, the service was nice and convenient, and when I paid the bill, I was more than surprised that I couldn't pay with credit or debit cards. We're living in 2018, and I think a house with a really good reputation should consider as soon as possible whether it's still up-to-date.

We also booked our skiing holiday through a travel agency. Unfortunately, this was also frowned upon when we received the pictures. Yes, we were asked if we wanted to spend our skiing holiday here because of the positive reviews/photos and the great offer. On arrival, we were first positively impressed. Toller Hof, expanded into a hotel overlooking the snow-covered meadows and right next door, like the praises of the stable. At first we were very euphoric. Unfortunately, this was frowned upon at the reception. Yes, we were also asked if we wanted to spend our skiing holiday here, but any info on the hotel/wellness area or something like that was kept quiet.
