I stayed here one night and I felt fine. The family is very kind, willing to give advice on what to do and where to eat. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the small center of Heiligenblut.

Very good.

Small clean B&B with a very friendly and attentive boss, but for a B&B (room for 3 adults) too expensive B&B is located below the town centre (walking to the church about 10 minutes, up the hill). Big clock can be seen in good weather. Reserved parking spaces are free for the B&B guests. Bus stops directly at the B&B Unfortunately our room for 3 people was perfectly adequate for one night without a view to the valley.

For one night, I'm sure you'll like it.

This hotel is located just before the Großglockner strasse, the famous alpine road. Everyone is kind and available to help, and it has a good value for money. The rooms are nice, modern, and clean. I strongly suggest this place if you would like to spend good time in Carinzia!

Very nice hotel in a strategic location

The b&b is family-run, like almost everyone in the area. Clean, tidy, cozy; but not very characteristic and not at all elegant. We spent 80 euros on a double night with breakfast (a Po of sliced and marmalade, yogurt, juices, coffee). Communication is difficult, Italian not even a word and English very little. But if you have good will you understand.

Relax nature and a few hundred meters from the Großglockner... a spectacle worth seeing.

Quiet b&b in a small quiet alpin town. Clean, comfortable room and nice breakfast. Great place for exploring the Grossglockner Mt. area. Wonderful small town with a beautiful church. Perfect Alpin stay.

Great quiet alpin b&b

On our Alpine trip we stopped in holy blood. We were drowned in the Alpine rose. When we arrived at the beginning of September, the accommodation was not rented out and we were given the best room in the house. Giant's apartment with a large balcony and a large balcony view from the bed. Everything in the Alpine wooden furniture and very dirty. Highlighting is also the kindness of the owner, who also served a very tasty and full breakfast in the morning. To the cable car and in the town centre it's only a few steps away. Driving over the Alpine road you get a portion of the tax refunded through the pension (at 2 nights, at 3 nights).

Very nice accommodation with great view and super service

In the middle of the Grossglockner, at a little town called Heiligenblut we discovered this cute family which owns and manages a really nice and small country house, something like couple of zimmers inside a building. The couple who are there knows a bit of English. TIP: ask to speak with their son (he is a student at Vienna and knows pretty good English instead).

All is made of wood, warm and cosy. They only wish to serve and switched one of our rooms (we took 4 which was almost all the business) without arguing.

If you eat Kosher, like we do, you can ask them for whatever you want for breakfast (like vegetables, making your own Omelette using your own pan and such) and they can even provide shampoo if you forgot, but you should not count on it since they give you some leftovers from previous guests.

We also took some time to tour the town and even got a chance to sit in a pub in the middle of the town, right near the town lookout tower. The dress of the waitress is SOUND OF MUSIC like what made us anxious to take a photo with her. She was kind enough to agree and for us that was a great souvenir.

All in all the town is awesome, they have a mini-market as well and you are lucky, you may find the two old men with traditional clothes, driving their super-old and noisy tractors, which is magic, or as one of my trip-buddies said: You wake up in the morning, go outside and see that you are not in a painting.........YOU ARE THE PAINTING!
