Just returned from a two week ski vacation in the Tirolean Alps of Austria.  I stayed in the Landhaus Margarethe while there.  Online research led me to choose this establishment because it was on the smaller size, family owned/run, and right next to the ski lift.  

My stay could not have been better.  After a nice drive down from Munich, I was met by Maximilian who is such a nice, friendly and industrious young man.  I next met Markus and Frau Fuchs (I think), both of whom were such lovely folks.  The entire ,staff of the LM were so wonderful and helpful.  

My room was a double with a balcony.  Spacious, comfortable, everything worked, and emaculate are words I'd use to describe it.  There was a small sized fridge in the room that came in quite handy as my stay progressed.  Another thing I really appreciated was a good sized shower stall unlike other areas in Europe.  And after long days on the slope, HOT water was always available.  

Breakfast every morning was included in the price of my charge.  Someone commented on the daily selections being the same, and they were, but there was certainly enough choice daily for varied breakfasts each morning.  

I certainly appreciated the private underground parking so that I did not have to worry about my rental BMW being hit while in a parking lot or worse, parked on the street.  The facility has a sauna and a small area for exercise equipment, neither of which did I use.  I asked for a room kettle for tea and was provided with one promptly.  
Another perk I appreciated was the Hohe Region card provided with the stay.  This is a card that will allow you FREE use of the train and ski bus as well as limited discounts in the region.  

My only issue was that the internet/WiFi tended to drop out especially in the afternoons.  The remedy was simply to save my work frequently and re-sign into the system.  This could've have been a simple issue of my machine and not that of the LM.  Oh, one other thing concerning electronics, do not forget to bring a voltage converter especially if you're coming from the US or North America.  

My stay was great and I would definitely recommend the LM to anyone and stay there again in the future.  Thanks so much to the Fuchs Family.

Great stay at the Landhaus Margarethe

Hosts are very welcome and very helpful and speak very fluent English.
Hotel has its own parking and its own sauna.
Price is a high in my opinion.
The only suggestion or wish is to increase variety of breakfasts.
When you come here for a week, same breakfast every morning is a bit concerning.

Please keep in mind if you come here skiing, mountains in this area are rather low and snow season is much shorter compared to other locations in Austria.

Excellent but costly.

Wonderful, large bedroom and absolutley spotless. Attention to detail is incredible and Marcus was the perfect host. Location was great as it was quiet, but close enough to walk into the town. 
Would highly recommend this hotel and definitely return

Spotless and very friendly

This little hotel was a great experience. Nice, spacious and perfectcly cleaned rooms. Great location in the village. Litterary crawling distance from cabin-lift up to Hohe Salve. Good breakfast with lots to choose from and with our host ready to deliver the eggs and condiments of our choice. We'd booked the hotel on recommendation from my brother on the information that it gave easy access to the surrounding mountains for hiking. The hotel-manager prooved to be an excellent source of information as to what hikes were available and suitable for us. We had a great time and will most likely return. Our only gripe was that the undersheets in the beds were a bit strange as to the fabric.
