It's a beautifully clean hostel, perfect for cyclists, as it's very close to the Intra-Valley Cycle Road. The whole process was wonderfully straightforward, you could get there very easily. A breakfast is included in the price (breads, butter, jam, cereal, coffee). The price-to-performance ratio was top. There's a pizzeria 5 minutes walk away. I'd come back anytime.

Perfect for cyclists

The kitchen is very well equipped, it can even cook or rinse several parties at the same time. The room with the oven is very comfortable, the 500-year-old courtyard has been completely renovated. The bathroom inside the 1st floor has a moisture problem, allergy sufferers should prefer to use the large bathroom to shower, etc. Despite the convenient location (in the satellite image it looks like a traffic satellite, which is not true) we are quite quietly located.

Nice Backpacker hostel

Very nice house, very lovingly cared for! Great barbecue with seating facilities. Inside a well-equipped kitchen for shared use. In the common room there were games and toys for children. We were staying in the eighth room. Everything was really satisfactory and our little son, 2 years old, had nicely not even calculated and even put a baby bed on it. Very attentive and friendly! Great host!

The staff is incredibly helpful and the building is just beautiful. The rooms were big and even had their own table. We got a baby bed for free. The living room is totally comfortable and there are games for all ages. Even for breakfast everything essential was there.

It's a beautiful house.

We were with a group of 13 people in this youth hostel. It's an old, historic building that was very nicely renovated. The kitchen is functional and it has almost everything it needs. The living and dining room is very comfortable and has a wood-fired tile oven. The bathrooms/toilets are modern and are cleaned daily. The rooms are high-rise beds. It's actually only a little disruptive to traffic because the yugi is in the middle of the highway alleyway.

Nice location.

The hostel is located a little outside of Ixt, but very nice!! There is a large shared kitchen and both inside and in the beautiful garden you can sit well together. The best thing is the kindness of the hostess, so you feel comfortable right away. I was only there for one night, but would come back anytime.

Very good!

Great place. Clean, accommodating and friendly. Hard to find and a bit of noise from cars in summer. Unique atmosphere and a simple but nicre breakfast provided were great. Kids enjoyed the places lot.

Transfer for families 

Lovingly restored farm with excellent kitchen and common room facility. The walls of this 500 year old farm conversion almost make you believe that you stay in castle. 

Our kids loved exploring the barn with rabbits and the cellars. Common room with the wood fed traditional oven had a real cosy feel to it. Daddy loved the self-service beer fridge with honesty box. Mum loved the free wifi in the common room. 

A bit hard to find. It is squeezed in between a number of roads but this did not effect our sleep at all. The rooms were clean and warm. We went in February to go skiing in the Ötz and Pitz Valley and it was the perfect lcation for this. 

This would also be a good stop-over if you are driving longer distance to reach the two valley, let's say driving from the UK or Scandinavia. Only drawback was the fact that the children got charged the full price which made it a bit expensive for a family of four. Still would recommend this highly for individual travellers, couples or bigger groups.

Rustic farm lovingly restored farm near Pitz- and Ötztal

We stayed in this wonderful place for one night in May 2014, on the way from Munich to Verona. The building itself deserves to be stayed in it. It has a history, you can't help but feel it.
