A lovely spot! My room was so comfy, the food in the restaurant is so delicious and the staff is so friendly. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. What a perfect place for vacation. And there is so much to see and do in the area. I can't wait to come back!

Lovely

The hotel is beautiful, with excellent pastel colours and stylish design. The most recent reviews highlight the unfriendly receptionist/owner. She is very unfriendly, greeted voluntarily and is not willing to respond to the wishes/requests of the guests.

It's beautiful.

Unfortunately, the hotel is not as it is shown on the homepage. It is miles away from the five stars, or it got it in the 1980s, and since then nothing has been done. At the moment I would rate it with three stars. The location at the large lake property is wonderful, only unfortunately nothing is made of it. There is an award with a wellness award, but outside the lake there is no wellness. Only a small, very old sauna on the lake, where a maximum of two people can sit, no massages, treatments, pedicure... The dinner was good, but there was no salad, no cheese buffet buffet, which is the same as a breakfast pension. We were very happy, even though the staff was very happy, as opposed to the hotel, which was not really a good place, because it was not really the hotel.

5 Stars - Lies and Fraud

We had booked a room for 5 nights in a short time. The room was very spacious and very well maintained and not outdated at all. The staff were always very friendly and hospitable. The partially negative reviews I can't quite understand here. The food we had booked for half board tasted very good. Very nicely tuned and in the crowd just right. The hotel is located in a very well maintained parking lot with direct sea access. There are enough and comfortable beds available. In a small sea pavilion you can have drinks and small snacks. The only thing we missed here was a towel service to get a dry towel after bathing. We couldn't recommend staying in this new hotel.

Very good hotel in a nice location

We wanted to book a DZ for 3 nights, at a proud price of at least over 1500 euros. - But if you have a room request, it's already too much. On the phone, the receptionist aggressively approached me, which is what I want. After 3 seconds, she yelled at me, we should rather go on vacation somewhere else, she's taking our reservation off right away. Thank God we're not going to set foot in this hotel... Austrian hospitality is a different idea, especially in a supposed five-star hotel!!!!

It's not like that!

The last three bad reviews I absolutely cannot comprehend! I can't put it down! We've been thrilled 3 times here and every time. The location right by the lake with a beautiful view of the dragon wall (also from most suites) is hardly to overcome (on the moon sea there is hardly any accommodation with sea access). There are enough comfortable beds for everyone and even drinks service. However, if you want a change, you can have various cold drinks, coffee and cakes (unfortunately no tea but there is also staff available soon), in an outdoor pavilion with a very beautiful view of the lake.

A dream hotel

The staff at this hotel is horrible - the worst receptionist we've ever met. After we have stayed 3 nights at the hotel and checked out early morning (to do them a favor so that they can clean the rooms), my wife wanted to use the shower at beach to freshen up at mid-day. Even though in the morning it was confirmed that we can use the shower, the cabin was locked. When we asked for the cabin to be opened the receptionist came into action and told us that "she wouldn't want the facilities to get dirty by us and therefore she wouldn't open the shower. When we asked her for a reasoning, her answer was "because I don't want to". We were so shocked. Never have we met a person that is less qualified for a job in a hotel than this miserable receptionist. They charge 600 EUR / night. Facilities are not kept in shape either. Try to avoid this Frankenstein castle.

Horrible place with horrible staff

During the festivals, we were in the seaside resort on the Moon Sea. The location on the lake was the reason for our booking. Unfortunately, the stay was not particularly attractive. The rooms and infrastructure have not been renovated since the 1980s and the best time has been long gone. This could be overlooked. But the staff is a complete disaster. Especially the receptionist is completely incompetent and incredibly unfriendly. How this hotel got five stars is a mystery to me. In the future we will definitely make a mile-long arch around the seaside resort.

Very unfriendly staff, completely outdated rooms, bad kitchen

We have been coming to Salzburg for years to attend the festivals, and this time we are also looking for a new accommodation for a test weekend and a subsequent booking for the next year. We asked the receptionist for documents which were also handed to us with the indication that you can see the park and walk to the lake and here in the building is the restaurant.
