A pleasant hotel in a special place in Innsbruck, we decided specifically on the location of the hotel so that we could stay in a quiet place. It was partially adhered to (consider the nighttime operation of the cable car and bus stop in front of the room). The staff were very accommodating, breakfast buffet) very well equipped for this category. The bed was made up of two single beds, which unfortunately always wandered slightly apart at night. Rooms overlooking the bus stop are a little louder as the bus runs even at night.

Very pleasant pension with special status

Friendly reception and lavish dishes, an incredible price, and an hourly meal, which I highly recommend to anyone taking a break halfway between Innsbruck and the peaks of the Tyrol.

Good quality price ratio

We were aware of the particularity of the bathroom, which was without a dividing wall, but simply a glass that was dark to the shoulders. For us it was not a problem, but I would advise you to take it into consideration.

Pleasant atmosphere

What I love about Alpina is that you get away from all the downtown noise, and can enjoy a fantastic view over the city and the mountains. The rooms are clean and up to date with bathroom and television. Try to get a room overlooking the valley. I also like the traditional restaurant down below. Access the place using the public bus from the city center, which you can hear passing by every 20 minutes. From Alpina you can enjoy walks in the forest or go 100% mountaineering if you like. 

Great little place

Overlooking Innsbruck, next to the Bahn (both down to downtown and up to 2200 metres). Alpina offered us a great overnight stay. Smallish, refurbished room, very clean and comfortable. Modern bathroom albeit with one drawback; it’s glass wall means the whole room is lit up if you turn on it’s light in the middle if the night. Nice little balcony, firm mattress and excellent breakfast (Jura coffee machine!!). 
People running it are hardworking - they run the pension as well as the restaurant between the two of them- but welcoming, patient and friendly. The restaurant beneath the rooms is closed by ten o’clock ( kitchen closes at eight thirty) so no noise problem there. They have excellent pizza’s and the standard Austrian fare (schnitzel, pork,...) at very reasonable price. If you’re looking for a good overnight stay at low price, Alpina is a good choice.

Two smaller drawbacks: parking space is very limited (paid is available though) and there’s a bus clambering up the hill along the pension every fifteen minutes or so ‘till midnight.

Great overnight

Welcome from a nice and funny host. When we arrived in the room, we were greeted by a dominant vanilla smell. The room was simple and for Max. 2 nights was fine. What for me is a minus point: the bathroom. No privacy (only separated by glass slide / glass door). I felt very uncomfortable. The bathroom is beautiful and clean but the separation from the room with the glass slide, we found very inappropriate.

Location top but room well

Very nice, clean, located right next to the cable car station, great views, a nice breakfast as well as a buffet, we'd come back to go to the city centre, there are buses because walking is a long way.

All very well.

We have chosen this place for the lower price than the rest of the hotels in Innsbruck. For an Italian it is quite salty compared to the service offered. The common places smell of cigarette smoke. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is new but with a satin glass wall overlooking the room.

Apartment 70s high-rise

Hotel only accessible by car. Price a bit high but how horrible the room! With parking lights in the room and at 4 o'clock it was daytime!!! Then the bathroom was in the bedroom separated only by a glass wall! W the privacy! What a crap!

It's uncomfortable and uncomfortable!

We had lunch here after a trip on the North Kette and tasted a number of typical dishes of the place. The portions are very plentiful and the prices are not high. The quality of the dishes is average good and the service (in English) was attentive and kind. Perfect for a quiet stay if you go on the North Kette, a little far from the city centre. Overall we liked it.
