Our family had the good fortune of staying in Ischgl for the Christmas Break and we could not be happier with our choice. We ended up on the top floor of the building, so our vies might have been unique. However, we were able to see one of the main lifts/runs from one of our balconies. The other balcony also had a beautiful view of the valley. The proprietors were accommodating, as we needed to arrive a wee bit early, but we had emailed ahead and it was fine. The location was perfect to us as the hotel is a two minute walk to the people mover that takes you to two of the chair lifts and q quick walk to one the the grocery stores. Apart Alpert has a heated ski room to store your gear, and even a sauna (but we didn't use it). If you like, you can ask for fresh bread to be delivered to your room each morning for a small charge. There is a washer and dryer on the premises, but you need to coordinate with the owners (who live on site) and pay a small fee for each load. There was even free garage parking available for our rental car. As for our flat, it was honestly the cleanest and most well appointed flat I have ever rented. There was not a thing that I needed that it did not have. Where most rental apartments have a few mismatched kitchen items and old, worn out furniture, this location had an excellently stocked kitchen and lovely beds and linens. As I said before, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Regarding Ischgl, it was fantastic. We had never heard of it before, but will certainly be visiting again. When we do, Apart Alpert will be where we stay!
