Just back from a weeks stay here. Two families, so 10 of us in total. In the lead up to our trip communication with the hotel was excellent. Steffi from the hotel was great and really helped us plan our trip in advance. The hotel is lovely and warm and really clean. The rooms are modern with comfortable beds, a small fridge and balcony albeit some do only overlook a car park and supermarket but that wasn’t an issue for us. 
Breakfast is self service and there was plenty of choice with something for everyone. 
It was Christmas while we was there and the family also put out traditional Christmas biscuits and we had complimentary schnapps on arrival which was a nice touch. 
The family that run the hotel we found very friendly and helpful. There is a small bar with great beer and the family are happy to join you for one and chat if you are up for that. 
Location wise it’s really central with a short walk (up quite a steep hill) to the Main Street with its bars, shops and eateries all close by. Likewise access to ski hire and the Dorf tunnel to one of the main gondola lifts.

Great Hotel with a family feel and great location 👍

We have just spent Christmas here for a week and it was perfect.  It’s modern, cosy and spotlessly clean. The hotel hosts (Jehle family) were so friendly and welcoming, even their 2 beautiful cats. Nothing seemed too much trouble, Stefanie was amazing, helping us with all our queries. There were 10 of us, 2 families. Our bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, cotton bedding with daily fresh soft towels. We had bath robes and slippers, which were ideal to use going down to the sauna. Breakfast is self service with a great range of breads, cheeses, cold meats also hot bacon and eggs. Cereals, yogurts, fruit and pastries and more. 

The hotel is in an ideal position within the town as it’s only a 2 minute walk up to the main area where the shops, bars and restaurants are. The gondola tunnel entrance for the Fimbabahn lift (A3) is there, which takes you to Idalp where the ski school is based. The hotel has a great ski room to store boots and skis with a side door leading straight onto the street. It is a steep walk up to the Main Street, so if you prefer to hire a locker at the lift station it maybe easier. 

We all enjoyed our stay here and would defiantly return to the hotel next time we come to Ischgl.

Great place to stay

Lovely welcoming staff, really nice breakfast and nice beds, the rooms got cleaned everyday, and good service, perfect location! The hotel is a 3 min walk from the gondola and the town, and there is a supermarket less then a minute away. They have the spa open from 4:00 till 7:30 with a sauna and steam room and a few other things, which is perfect after a long days skiing/snowboarding. We also had drinks in the bar on a night which are really well priced ! There is also the cutest little hotel cat!

Helpfull, friendly, welcoming, perfect,

The property seemed newly renovated. The rooms are very clean and warm. Also very quite. The location is great - close to the main lift, ski rental and restaurants. 

The breakfast doesnt match four star standards: the scrambled eggs are from powder, fruits are limited. The bread was good, but the croissants looked pale. 

Around 7pm the hotel is deserted, the bar is not working in case you want to have a drink. 

All in all is worth it, the staff is polite. 

Great location, average breakfast 

We stayed at Arosa for a week. It is a family-run bed and breakfast which is basically run by the owner, a one-woman-band lady that does everything from check-in, serving your breakfast to giving you cards for the lift.

The facilities were "ok" and relatively clean, the beds had very poor mattresses, the ones that will not give you a good night’s sleep after a hard day of skiing or snowboarding. A big problem we had was that the room had no radiators other than in the bathroom which made drying our clothes and gear very challenging.

You will also need to be mindful of the sneaky cleaning-service that will sneak into your room while you are having breakfast. The most unfortunate thing is that the cleaning-service will not replace any of your sheets unless you expressly require them to do so and will not actually clean your room (we accidentally broke a glass and the pieces where still there when we left, no vacuum or anything). We had to ask for soap replacements twice, very poor service.

The owner-lady has no concept or understanding of hospitality, hardly speaks any English and is very rude and without any sort of manners. She was bad-tempered and rude all day, every day making our stay quite unpleasant and highly irritating.

For example, the first day we checked in, she required that we pay up-front the entire sum, something that I wasn’t accustomed to. So far so good, we went to our rooms to unpack, when I returned, I was the first one, the lady didn’t speak to me and instead gestured to me in an intense way with her hand rubbing her fingers like we do when we mean “money”.

I was shocked at the rudeness of the gesture. On another occasion when I wanted to kindly ask for a cup of tea and knocked on the reception door, she stormed out, hands in her waist and with a loud voice yelled at me “What is the problem”. As I said, she kept making remarks in a very rude way on a daily basis even for the easiest things to be kind with, i.e. there is a gear room where we can put our skis and boots, instead of suggesting that to us she scolded us about it.

Obviously, as the owner of the business, she has lost all perspective of who is the client and who provides the service. She is giving Austrians a bad name. I highly recommend that she hires some professional personnel to interact with the clients as she is highly obnoxious and insulting.

I would not recommend to anyone.
