We had a wonderful week’s holiday staying at the Jagerwirt. We booked through TUI after finding a great late deal. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming and we were very impressed with the speed of checking in a large amount of guests! We had a great room (358) with views of the mountains on two sides and although the bathroom was a little dated the shower was great with plentiful hot water.
We were definitely fed well with a buffet breakfast and a 5 course dinner each evening. I am vegetarian and there was a different choice for me each evening and despite a mix up on the buffet evening leading to no vegetarian main course for me, I still had plenty of choice from the salad buffet. My husband had a choice of 3 main courses and thoroughly enjoyed all his choices through the week. The only downside was the WiFi (we couldn’t get a signal in our room).
We have stayed in Kitzbühel before and it is a fabulous base for exploring the area. We bought a 6 day hiking pass which was great value at €68 (saving us over €100 on cable car fares) and walked over 60 miles during the week.
It’s such a shame the hotel is closing as we would definitely have returned.

Fabulous stay

Just left jagerwirt today ,to be fair ,it was everything it was sold as .The location has stunning mountain views and whilst its quiet,its also very handy for shops and other amenities. The staff are lovely and very helpful,its clean and the food is very nice .I can not fault it and would certainly go again ,RS McGuire

Finally, after 5 years (due to health issues), I was well enough to visit Jagerwirt once more. This time though, sadly, to say goodbye, as we had learned the hotel was about to close its doors for the final time in September!

We stayed for a week, beginning 17th August 2019. A few familiar faces where there to greet us such as Alex, Inge and George, as well as some newer staff members.
We were given a quiet, spacious room with a balcony and fantastic views of the river and mountains. It was wonderful drifting off to sleep each night to the sound of the flowing water. 

The staff and service, as always, was excellent! The staff truly are some of the nicest people we have ever met. They are hard working, helpful, friendly and always had good humour. They are a credit to the hotel and completely made the whole experience extra special!  We are so pleased that the majority of staff have now found new places of employment, once Jagerwirt closes and we wish them every success for the future!

It's quite sad to think that Jagerwirt will close very shortly and no longer be the hotel we have come to love. However, we do carry such wonderful memories of both our stays - 2014 and 2019 - the friendships that we made, the places we visited and the all round Austrian experience...truly fantastic!!

To Alex and ALL your staff...we will miss you all, but have so many wonderful memories...VIELEN DANK!!!

Verabschieden.

We stayed in this Hotel for a week commencing 17.08.2019. Our room on the 3rd floor was very spacious and had excellent views from the balcony of the Hahnenkamn.
The food throughout our stay was excellent.Of the five course meals that we had every night I do not recall one course I did not enjoy!. The service at the restaurant was friendly and efficient with no frustrating waiting.
The reception and bar staff were very friendly and helpful. 
The Pool area was great....not overcrowded as some places I have been.
Overall we had a great stay in this truly lovely Hotel!

Lovely stay...lovely Hotel!

This is a lovely hotel but is closing in 3 weeks time. This is a shame as it would be a great ski hotel, well located for main lifts and with a good pool and sauna. We’ve just returned from a 2 week stay for a summer hotel booked through Tui. I didn’t think the food was brilliant, but it was decent and occasionally excellent. Soups in particular were really good and you certainly never left feeling hungry. After 2 weeks it’s always going to feel a bit samey. Our room had been recently refurbished and was very spacious with a nice sized balcony to enjoy a supermarket beer early evening.
What really makes this hotel is the staff, from reception to the restaurant staff particularly Theresa, George, Denise and Wanda. They are really friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they’re all super efficient. 
However this review is all a bit pointless as the hotel is closing in September, allegedly because they need to spend too much to make it viable to continue, to bring it up to new Austrian fire reg standards. I don’t know if that’s true and hopefully someone will buy it as it’s a great little hotel.

Lovely hotel- shame it’s closing 

The hotel is located in the center of Kitzbühel. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are beautifully large and tastefully decorated. From the balcony you have a beautiful panoramic view. The breakfast offers a wide selection of delicious regional products. But also the homemade burger bar we can only warmly recommend you should definitely have been there. We are very happy to come and can recommend this hotel again!!!!!

Great hotel in the heart of Kitzhühels

Beautiful house very centrally located to the event (Harley Davidson) 20min walk to the train 10min to the rooster compass Gondel. Rooms large and beautiful. Bed magnificent. Nice bathroom. Adjacent sports bar (smokers welcome 👌) offers genius burgers. Super wellness area. Breakfast good. Price performance at least in summer.

Highly recommended

I stayed two nights in this hotel: we had two rooms, one for me and my husband and one for our two children. Very large rooms, with living area and terraces with views, but without a fridge bar and with amenities a little towels. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast in the standard. Beautiful indoor swimming pool and excellent sauna/Turkish bath area. Small garden to take the sun in the summer equipped with very comfortable beds. Very kind to the reception.

Good hotel in Kitzbuhel

I stayed with my family and a group of friends in the last decade of August. A real applause to the staff, high-level professionalism, uncommon warmth and kindness. Every time you went back to the hotel, you felt at home. My kids were spoiled for the whole stay.

Amazing staff.

We are a group of friends who have been traveling together for 15 years. Despite the difficulty of the language, we have found an incredibly friendly and professional staff who for 10 days took care of us completely.
