Tranquility at its best. Simplicity and quality in every single aspect. A wonderful place in the middle of a vineyard.  Spacious room with a few wine details as decoration. Smartly designed bathroom. A fantastic, huge window overlooking the vineyard. There is also a small pool surrounded by the vines.
There are small tables and chairs outside each ground floor rooms and some additional ones around the hotel (it`s actually a small building) to enjoy the views. After the working hours of the restaurant, one can use their honesty bar (very well-stocked for wine lovers).
Because it was really hot when we arrived, we had dinner outside, among trees. The food was absolutely delicious with great wine recommendations (quite a few produced at that very vineyard) produced locally.  
Breakfast – again delicious, with home-made jams (with apricot jam that Wachau Valley is famous for; also available to purchase and take home). 
The staff – friendly and helpful.
I wish the place was closer to where we live. 


Perfection

We stayed two nights in September in a large room with a terrace, #3. The terrace with a small table and chairs gives the guests a place to sit to admire the lovely vineyards and the jackrabbits playing among the vines.  Our room was just a few steps from the pool which we could have used as it appeared heated and though it was covered, the staff said they would remove it for us. There are other rooms on the other side of the hotel that also have small patios, smaller than our terrace but a little more private.  Our side of the hotel was probably a little more active with workers, trucks but nothing that marred our stay.  One morning was just an early wake up while the pool was being repaired but possibly during harvest it could be a little busier harvesting the grapes.  Breakfast was included and was a nice array of food, plus they would cook eggs for you as well. It was a nice walk thru the vineyards into Krems in the daylight but would not recommend the walk back at night as you might get lost.  We took a taxi back who was not exactly sure where she was going but we made it.  Staff was gracious, helpful and of course, their English was excellent.  Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel with ambiance

Surrounded by vineyards at the outskirts of Krems. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, modern and very clean rooms. Lovely pool. Breakfast incl. some local products. Fine lunch and dinner menus. Don't miss their wine and - seasonal - apricot dumplings!

Great place to stay and dine at.

Wien-Gut Hutter is amazing place. Breakfast was tasty with local food.Very nice place is excatly by the vineyard. Nice walk by foot to city center. You can eat at restaurant. They offer local wine and very good dishes.Higly recommend! 

Cute place by the vineyard

We stayed for 2 nights and ate at the restaurant twice. Our room was perfect. It was spacious and very modern. It opened up onto a patio where we sipped wine and enjoyed the afternoon sun. There is a lovely pool but the weather was cool. You can walk to Krems easily in about 15 minutes. It is an easy drive to visit Durnstein and other villages along the Danube. We toured the Winzer Krems winery which was a fun tour. The restaurant at Weingut Hutter was top notch. We had the 4 course dinner with wine pairings. Everything was excellent and served in such a rustic modern dining room.  The staff speaks English. Loved our stay here. Breakfast was plentiful. Great apple cider and sparking wine.
Also good choices of cheese, meat and lox.
