After arriving in Koflach on Easter Sunday at 18.00 and finding everything closed, facing a 2 km walk to the Gastehaus we came across a bar that was open and they called us a taxi.  +43(0) 660/200 57 97 Taferner Taxis We were really surprised at the beautiful views from the room. We asked the owner if there was a restaurant nearby and he said there was one about 5-10 minutes walk away but they closed early on Sundays but he had seen some cars there. He left and 10 minutes later came back and said he had been to the restaurant and they would stay open to feed us. He then took us in his car and dropped us off.
Great rooms, great service, great breakfast (optional) and great value ! Will definitely visit again.

Must have a private vehicle to get here. Can use credit card. Owner very friendly, but does not stay on site. We were there on a Tuesday night, so there was no breakfast Wednesday morning. He and his wife had to work. Appeared to be a permanent resident on the ground floor--not a problem. There were 2 bedrooms in one wing on the 3rd floor with a bathroom between. Same floor as the kitchen. We don't like sharing bathroom with strangers, but would be ok for 2 couples that know each other. Had a balcony with a beautiful view of the countryside above the surrounding farm land. Woke up to roosters crowing. We bought food at a local grocery store and sat on balcony for both supper and breakfast. Very relaxing.

Great view

We spent 9 wonderful days in Köflach. We had booked the holiday apartment, it fulfilled the purpose. 2 bedrooms with a total of 5 bedrooms, a large living room with 2 bedrooms. In the bedrooms there is a SAT TV, in the living room there is a large TV. Free WLAN - worked perfectly! Large kitchen with stove, dishwasher, microwave, icebox, dishwasher... bathroom with toilet, extra (for several people a GEWINN :-)) Large terrace with furniture AND a removable deck weaker. From the terrace you can walk up the stairs to the garden.

Guest house

In the booking.com review, LEIDER made a big mistake. Unfortunately I can't change or delete my review there. I booked 3 nights at the guest house Maria, in Köflach. I really had a great time. Large spacious rooms, big bathroom, a balcony with a great view and very quiet location. These things are great, but more importantly I find very nice approaching hosts. I can highly recommend this guest house. Thank you for letting me have a nice time with you.
