We had a very pleasant stay in this family hotel. The hotel was very clean, we had a large room at the front side of the hotel with a very nice view over Tarrenz. The food was delicious and the service excellent! We will definitely come back for a next holiday!

Very large selection and very good cuisine! International and regional cuisine. Child-friendly. Beautiful rooms and splendid guest gardens. Fantastic price-performance ratio. Family business with very friendly and hospitable staff. Many regular guests. Ideal for a culinary entrance, family celebration or holiday in Tyrol.

Very good cuisine.

The family-run hotel in the beautiful Gurgl valley, perhaps continued to be clicked on by luxurious holidaymakers, I would have probably done so. A group booking led me here and led me to this review. A panoramic hotel in the very best location. The price-performance ratio is sensational. The food is excellent and the usual amenities such as pool, terrace, wine cellar are very nice. But the best thing is the atmosphere in the house. Loving, incredibly kind, diligent people with a lot of heart give a wonderful time to the guest. Suddenly the food is no longer just a served meal. Anchor, appetizer, guest appreciation and a pleasant welcome that will make this house a very special place. If you come here, I'd like to thank you for how much you'll experience it.

5 stars at the second glance

We were only at the Gurgltaler Hof Hotel for dinner but this was a snack. The service was very friendly and the ambiance very nice. It was also very expensive. The restaurant is highly recommended!

It's great food!

It's a hotel where you can feel at ease right away and it's a holiday with friends. We've been going out with our guests for many years and we've always felt at ease. The rooms are nice and everyone has a balcony. The food is very tasty and if anyone has a wish, you can ask for it. The garden is beautiful and the pool invites swimming in the summer. Something very special is the traditional mountain breakfast at 1,900 meters on the hilltop. The whole family works at the hotel and goes to great lengths. Thank you to the whole team and keep doing this.

For 28 years, the flagship hotel of the travel agency Happyday

Although buffet salad is free for every dish, unfortunately everything is completely souped (including carrots, cucumbers, celery salad). Only the bean salad was ok, but too little salt. A little fresh bread for the salad? Unfortunately, it's not clear. Just like the pretreatment soup Tyrol greukass soup with 2 small bags of dough in it. The onion roasted with spat. Overall, it was also a little too expensive for the roasted.

Growing through

The food itself was really delicious, but the prices are quite high. 14€ for a pig slice is a bit too expensive... for a calf slice this price would have been reasonable. As dessert I ordered ice cream with hot raspberries. During the meal I noticed that there was a long hair in the ice. I alerted the waiter to it and got a new ice cream. Instead of an apology, the waiter offered excuses that it could not have been the kitchen because everyone had short hair. It's a shame that the waiter couldn't apologize for it.

Good food - fairly expensive

We stayed only 2 days at the hotel. The hospitality at the reception and the unfortunately short days were very pleasant. The rooms and the whole hotel deserved praise too. I can only feel the hotel because it is in a beautiful location.

Friendly and very beautifully situated

Excellent Family Service I was at the Gurgltaler Hof Hotel in March 2017 and it was wonderful. The whole family works together here and the man feels like part of the family. The rooms are very good and the food and service is just wonderful. Come back here. Thank you!

In business

We were guests at the Forest Route boarding house and came here to eat dinner in the evening. Great service, good wine (branched) and the food is very good for the price. We had nothing to object to and have been there twice. However, if you expect a noble restaurant, you are wrong here.
