The family-run hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the town centre. Beautiful modern room with large balcony. Quiet location, very good breakfast buffet, nice and personal guest. Good price/performance ratio.

Nice, smaller hotel in a quiet location

It's a wonderful lovingly and perfectly run house, to recommend from the heart. Location, service, breakfast, cleanliness, spa, furnishings really great and perfect. It's going to be read to you every wish from your heart. We're very happy to come back.

A wonderfully loving and perfectly managed house

Alexandra and mom were so welcoming and made sure we had ample breakfast every day. She was also very friendly and helped us book restaurant, transport, massage and ski passes.

The place is spotlessly clean with white sheets/towels and a lovely area for infra red and sauna rooms plus drying area for wet gear.

Location-wise, it is not far from most places and we enjoyed the walks.

Though the weather was not great - not enough snow and some rain - the place more than made up for it.

Delightful stay

We were at the start of the trail for two nights with our children (11, 13) here. We have rarely been so warmly received in a hotel. The rooms are so cozy and quiet, the beds are comfortable and cozy. We should not have been able to start our tour. Questions were answered at all times and wishes were read from the lips. Absolutely wonderful and only to recommend! We will definitely be back.

It's hardly more hearty

If you're like us and prefer small boutique hotels to the big-names, I can save you a lot of time.  The Hotel Garni Edelweiss is perfection on every level (and I peeked into several others while we were there.  Location is near downtown,but just a tad out so that there is complete silence at night.  The cleanliness--well I don't know how you keep a place so immaculate and stain/scratch free with the use of many guests.  The whiteness of our sheets when the morning sun came through our window was whiter than the new ones I buy at home.  Breakfast was hearty with the extra touches of chocolate powder for cocoa and bowls of different nuts to sprinkle over your cereal.  And if you time it right, you can even have the sauna (yes, there's a sauna!) to yourself.  The icing on the cake are the owners Alexandra and her mother.  No attitude, just genuinely nice people who were gracious about helping and offering suggestions about lesser known places in the area.  Alexandra, a skier herself, could even advise us which mountain got the best sun at what time of the day so we could plan when best to have our Prosecco on a terrace with a view! One tip: if you to want to visit other nearby towns, book through Der Lecher Taxi (43 (0) 5583 2501) which is less expensive than the one in St. Anton.

Top of the line

We spent two nights this weekend in the mansion, a very well-maintained, beautiful, small hotel, nice rooms, top beds and quality sleep, good breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and good cappuccino, very friendly boss, top price, comfortable hotel.

Top price performance

Myself and a group of 10 stayed for a week at the Edelweiss in February 2019. Great location, centrally located to downtown Lech, with easy access to ski facilities, restaurants and shopping.  The rooms were comfortable, clean, well appointed, and fairly priced. The rooms on the Northwest side of the building had beautiful views of Lech and the mountains. The spa facilities in the basement were the real hidden gem.  Modern, clean, and very relaxing... we loved spending a few hours each day recovering in the spa after a day of skiing. 

Perhaps most importantly, Alex and her family truly made us feel at home, going above and beyond in every way to make our stay in Lech a good one. From preparing a delicious, healthy breakfast every morning, to helping us arrange dinner reservations or transportation, there wasn't a task too big or small for Alex.

I'm already thinking about my next ski trip to Lech and without hesitation would recommend the Edelweiss to friends and family alike.

An Absolute Gem

What a great Hotel. A lovely atmosphere, very nice and clean rooms. Excellent breakfast with views to the mountains just before a day in the slopes, which is right in front of the hotel. One can easily ski down to the closest ski lift. I have stayed here three times and I am coming back in the feature!

Simply fantastic

We decided to go skiing and to stay in Lech in a relatively short period of time and we were very happy and grateful. The boarding house is very pleasant and family-friendly run by the Kitzmüller-Fetz family and mother. The boarding house is only a few metres from the lift stations (about 5 minutes' walk), you can easily park in front of the house. The rooms are very spacious (we had the number 1) and clean, there is enough space or cabinets. The breakfast was great, only for one day Mrs Kitzmüller-Fetz knew whether coffee or tea, oh - yes - no, you had the feeling of being at home. Since it is a small boarding house, you could come to the breakfast room or to the bathroom to book other reservations. We also have a good dining area (and thanks to the bathroom and the bathroom, we also have a good dining room in the bathroom and the bathroom).
