A wonderful, very lovingly run house with large, tastefully decorated, cozy and well-kept rooms, the breakfast buffet a dream, plus a magnificent spa area, raw wine cellars and and and and... the host couple adorn the guests with genuine warmth.

Absolutely secret tip in Lech!

At the end of February, we rented the apartment at Pension Bürstegg for a week. In short, we were VERY satisfied. The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open kitchen with an adjoining room. It is very comfortable and you feel comfortable immediately. Everything is lightning clean and in excellent condition. The owner's family is very kind, hospitable and cares very much about the well-being of the guests. We had a sausage cutting machine that was already ready on our arrival. Also in every other corner we were very promptly and competently helped. The pension has its own very well-equipped skill and the limes can be reached almost within a few minutes (with skis and skis) by the ski house. We are happy to get back to the ski house and get to the next one.

Very nice boarding house in Lech

- Location: perfectly situated with just 400m walking distance to the lift and 800m walking distance to Lech Centre. A  bus commutes every 8-10 minutes and stops and picks up in front of the B&B.
- House: Very nice and charming ambience. Rooms are small but very clean, beautifully decorated and very functional. Wifi does work well.  However, rooms under the roof on the top floor are noise sensitive, due to dry wall installation. Normal next room guests’ conversations can easily be overheard (same for eg. TV).
- Food and beverages: Breakfast buffet is very versatile. Breakfast room, however, doesn’t have enough capacity if more guests decide to show up at the same time. Worst case, you are being sent back to your room and you will have to wait for a signal (only happened once and wait time was 10 minutes). Breakfast is only from 8am to 10am, which is a time window too narrow, and it is starting too late (given that eager skiers would like to be at the lift at that time). There is a fridge on the 2nd floor that offers a variety of beers, soft drinks and wine. You choose the drink at your discretion and fill in the consumption in a list. You pay for it at check-out.
- Personnel (excluding the manager): There is a cleaning lady and an additional assistance during breakfast. Both offer very kind, quick and helpful assistance throughout. Rooms are made very quickly (often during breakfast). 
- Manager: The lady is very helpful dealing with all sorts of requests. She took care of all dinner arrangements by calling up the restaurants for reservations. Unfortunately, she is very unbalanced. Her behavior ranges from an exaggerated and artificial put-on friendliness to sudden outbursts expressed by rudeness and latent aggressiveness.
In essence, whilst the ambience of the house and its location is very inviting, the behavior of the manager in various circumstances was a complete killer for me overshadowing the entire stay. I definitely won’t stay there again.

Watch out for the manager!

Bürstegg was perfect for us - three "senior" men getting away for a week's skiing.  Rooms are clean and comfortable, there is an honour-system bar for when we came in from the slopes and Ulli booked us great restaurants in the evenings.  We used the spa a few times for the elderly muscles and made the most of the ample and varied buffet breakfasts.  

The chalet is close to the town (restaurants, ski-rental...) and bus stops are a few steps away from the front door.

Ulli and Stephan picked us up and dropped us for our arrival and departure.

What service.  A gem!

Great Guest House in Lech

Pension Burstegg was wonderful!  Perfect location to walk in town or to take bus just outside the door. Ulli and Stefan are the most gracious hosts. Very helpful with restaurants, our ski passes and ideas for our non-ski days. 
The rooms were spotless as was the spa and dining area. Very cozy place to stay.   Highly recommend staying here!

Perfect Place to Stay

Ulli is so knowledgeable about the all the different activities, restaurants, and transportation in the area. The entire staff were so friendly and accommodating.  I'm already planning my return in 2023!

Hospitality!  Ulli, Stefan and staff are amazing!

Traditional chalet-style guesthouse with all the modern comforts you might need. Five min walk to the nearest piste and Schlosskopf chairlift, 10 min walk into the centre of Lech. Frequent ski busses stop right outside. Ulli made us feel at home immediately and was happy to share advice on the village and ski area. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Rooms are clean and comfortable, bath and shower both great, and the sauna/steam room/spa exceeded expectations. There is a good-sized ski room with heated boot racks.
It is easy to reach by public transport - you can take the scenic train from Innsbruck or Zurich to St Anton and then the 92 bus goes almost to the guesthouse in Lech. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Welcoming, cosy and practical base for exploring the Lech ski area

Very cozy breakfast guesthouse, wonderful room with very comfortable beds. The whole house is beautifully decorated and everything is picobello. Here the guest is really king. The lovingly prepared breakfast buffet is only finest and leaves no wishes open. The hostess, Mrs. Jochum, lovingly takes care of all special wishes, advises each individual guest individually and gives valuable wall tips.

It was a pleasure to sleep in such an accommodation. Great beds and a madly diligent and hardworking cleaning force. Simple, perfect!
