We had dinner at this excellent restaurant, very good food for a fair price. Encontre is highly recommended. Very friendly staff. There is only one credit point, the restaurant does not accept credit cards.

Cycle tour of Wachau

There was a lack of other places to eat, the service was professional but heartless. The price ratio was rather poor. Both beef dishes were dry and tasteless. At these prices we would have expected the possibility of card payment, but cash payment was preferred - for whatever reason. The place was a bad recommendation from the nearby RV park. We hope other camper friends will find something better.

Avoid other premises if open

Very bad first contract with the hotel manager. We had just finished our 72 km stage, we parked the bikes directly at the check-in place. The hotel manager tells us that we must first say hello, then check-in and then go and park the bike. Is this the wrong place where we put the bike? No, not at all, we must first go and say hello. He will tell us 2x from now on. Then he asks who writes the best of us 4 for the check-in, and then he has us rewrite everything because it wasn't in print. The rooms are not the same level, our life was long, with our hair on the sheets (which were at first slightly torn off pdus).

Not a good experience at the reception level

On a very beautiful terrace overlooking the Danube, you can enjoy the best cream cut - very comfortable with very friendly and hospitable guests. The head of the house is a cyclist himself and gives valuable tips for various racing bike tours in the area.

You know what?

The rooms were quiet, spacious and clean, the beds were good. We ate dinner at the restaurant, everyone thought it was excellent. The staff was friendly, the waiting time was short. I especially liked the garden for the hotel guests, a beautiful retreat for rest and relaxation. Full recommendation!

I'm just going to go ahead and do it!

We are regularly in Marbach and then we like it here again. Today the food was great again - we had various dishes with egg mushrooms/pifferlings. The cozy restaurant and the service round off the very positive impression.

Excellent hostel

In a side street there is this inn with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Danube. The menu is floor-to-ceiling and quite rich. But we opt for the extra marilyn noodles on offer. They taste excellent.

On the Danube

The room was huge for 3 people and despite the lack of air conditioning, it was not overheated. The beds with single mattresses were very comfortable. The dinner was very good. The staff/operators were very friendly. Only the breakfast was somewhat clear.

Nice night on a bike tour

We were staying here as part of a bicycle tour. Our double room was huge and comfortable. Everything was very clean. Unfortunately, when we arrived we had to find that it was a day of rest and the restaurant was closed. Since there were no good alternatives in the area and the restaurant's reviews were quite positive on the net, we were a little disappointed. The breakfast wasn't necessarily very rich, but it was fine. Maybe the next time you visit the restaurant, you'll be fine with a drop-off.

Quiet country guesthouse with beautiful rooms

The hotel is located by the road and is convenient to visit after a trip through the valley to Galstatt or back. Responsive staff, there is free parking, and for cyclists there is a garage:). The rooms are comfortable, spacious. We had the second floor number 1 and 3. In each joint bathroom with shower. The windows look out to the Danube. And from the inside of the hotel are pleasant terraces, lined with bushes and flowers, very beautiful and you can drink coffee in silence. Very tasty kitchen and lavish breakfast.
