Great local food, friendly service. Great tastes. Take the schlipfkrapfen or the grillteller and you will not be disappointed. They could to better with some more winechoice however. We went there for dinner only and did not stay overnight.

Great food with local specialities

The lady has welcomed me in a very gentle and nice way. 
Rooms are absolutely fine considering the very low price: I have paid 33 euro for a night in a single room with breakfast. Warms and with private bathroom.

There is also a restaurant (Gasthof).
Food tastes good, above average, considering that prices are not too high.
I have tried tiroler gröstl: quite generous dish size, home made and with good taste.
I would recommend it for a local-typical food meal.

This is one such guest house where a traveller would want to come again and again. Beautifully located in the heart of East Tirol, the guest house is luckily about a kilometre away from the highway #108. Just leave the highway and cross the bridge to reach this family abode that will instantly make you feel comfortable. The rooms are spacious and breakfast sumptuous. You are lucky, if you have the time to explore the surrounding but even if you are rushing, don't forget to take a stroll in the vicinity with farms dotted by several types of fruit bearing trees and wonderful foliage. When it is time to go, you will only make one pledge with yourself, that 'I will come again, some other day!'

Want to Come Again.......and ......Again!

I've been in this farm house for 6 nights, along with my family of my wife and two daughters of 1 and 6 yo. The experience has exceeded my hopes.
The hosts have welcomed us with kindness and tolerance for some noise and confusion made by my two children; they made their best to make the stay as comfortable as possible and they were visibly enjoying the presence of their hosts.
The rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable, fro the traditional balcony we enjoyed a nice view on the valley toward Lienz.
The house is close to the main road between Matrei and Lienz but far enough to only hear tweeting birds and the river below; nearby there 's the traditional farm, still in use, where children can meet horses, rabbits and chickens,
The masterpiece came at evening: the dinner is an opportunity to try the best quality food I've tasted in Tirol, served in huge portions that we had to halve to not waste half the dinner. 
Similarly the morning breakfast is still appetizing and plentiful.
The site, despite a quiet and green rural valley, is not the most astonishing place in Tirol and that's the only reason for what I've limited my vote to 4 / 5.
The wifi connectivity is very wake, but that let me dive better into my holidays.
