Nice and clean apartment with a friendly host. beautiful views from the balcony. Located in a quiet area. Free access to pool/swimming area in Mayrhofen. Breadservice. ~2 km to Mayrhofen, thus a car or bicycles are recommended. Overall a nice getaway for couples.

Nice getaway for couples

A nice and clean place. Very helpful owner, she let us select from two different rooms. Ok breakfast. If you are a paragliders, the location is perfect, close to the landing and Zillertaler Flugschule. The only problem was that smokers lived below us and their smoke came into our room when the balcony door was open... We had to have it open due to the warm summer night.

Nice place

Clean, traditional and spacious house. 
A good traditional restaurant is near. There is a bus station close to the house and you have the possibility to reach 3 major ski-stations.
The people were very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome here.

Very nice ski vacantion

I spent a week skiing Mayrhofen and stayed at the Wiesengrund ( B&B ). The package was booked through Snowtrex and included the SuperZillertal ski pass for the week. The guesthouse may not have 4 stars, but Michaela who runs it is 4-star. The welcome was warm and nothing was too much trouble when I needed advice and help. The guesthouse was inherited as is, so the owners have to use it to full potential with the limits of the building. The decor was homely and everything was clean, including the tv remote control ( highest bacterial count found in remote controls in hotel rooms according to a survey). Dinner could be had at the nearby Bruggerstube, serving traditional Austrian fare and some pasta dishes, at very reasonable prices.
The service there was also good. My single room had a sink, a flat screen tv, wardrobe, a table and chair plus a bedside reading lamp. The WC was next door and the shower was 2 floors down in the basement which was nicely decorated comprising a bathroom and a sauna. The breakfast was by no means small as I did not lose any weight after the week. It consisted of cereals, tinned fruit with yoghurt, rolls with ham, sausage meats, and cheese, coffee, loads of butter and an assortment of jams. The rolls were freshly delivered each morning. As I didn't have to pay a single supplement and as the holiday included the ski lift pass, it was a good deal. The last ski bus home from the Penken was around 16.38 hours. A taxi ride from the train station cost 6 euros. There were other different bus lines passing by later at night but I didn't have them worked out. I just took a taxi home when I arrived late from say, Hintertux where the glacier is. It is worth visiting on a sunny day - just breathtaking views up there and some red runs down. Another thing about this place, it is run by family members  and rest assured that that there is no stealing in the rooms. This may be important for some people. I also found Snowtrex of the highest integrity and would not hesitate to use them in future. The Wiesengrund offers a warm welcome and value for money. I joined my friends for dinner one evening at the Alpendomizil Neuhaus and that was a sumptuous  meal. This hotel is about 20 minutes' walk away.

A week at the Wiesengrund with Snowtrex Package

I was there for 3 days with my wife and another couple. We rented for a wery decent price an apartment with 2 nice bedrooms and a big dining room. Also, we had an open kitchen, fully equiped, one room for bath and one toilet room. Bathroom was equiped with a shower cabin and a bathtube, separately.
    We have a car so it was not a problem for us to go to Hintertux for sky. It s a little bit far from slopes but as far as I saw, there are many buses, so transport is not a big issue. And, again, is not expensive, you can buy food from supermarket (not so far) and cook it. There is a smart TV with programs in German, English and Russian languages. 
  There are some cows around and, for the most sensitive persons, this may be a minus.
