Superb bed and breakfast with friendly host. We stay here in early summer (2016), the apartment was very clean, newly built, very spacious and at an excellent price. Views over the lake and siting on the share patio was very nice.

Amazing View

Veronika made us feel very welcome when we arrived in her spotless guesthouse and advised us on the loval activities..
Our rooms had balconies overlooking the lake and the views were lovely.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented.
Millstatt is a delightful town.Take a stroll along the lake have a beer and enjoy.
It's a little far from the town if you don't have a car.

Picture Perfect

I don't normally write 2 reviews on the same property, however, I feel after visiting the Goetzfried Hof for a second time, that I must upgrade my original review. I spoke to Veronika about the breakfast before arriving here and to our surprise, she excelled herself by making us either scrambled egg and bacon or sausage. She was more than happy to provide hot milk for our cereals and I really feel she went above and beyond what was expected. Everything I said in my first review still stands (breakfast excepted) and it only leaves me to thank Veronika yet again, for being a fantastic hostess. The whole experience here was outstanding.

Our family stayed in this fantastic guesthouse for one week in summer....
I can write just superlatives about this stay.... family hospitality, fantastic and clean rooms, tasty food, perfect location with amazing lake view.... 
If you want to enjoy your holiday in Carinthia with many splendid possibilities of trips, sport activities, etc. - this is the place for you!

Wonderful stay nearby Millstatter See

Veronika keeps this place spotless and the fittings and furniture speak quality. The views from the balcony are lovely and the whole area exudes peace and tranquility. The two bedroomed apartment is very modern and exceptionally well fitted, with one full bathroom and a seperate toilet with sink. We stayed in normal double rooms, which were not huge, but more than adequate. As mentioned, the fittings were expensive, as were the LG flatscreen TV's. It seems that no expense has been spared with this property, free parking and free wi-fi, are added bonuses. If I had to make a negative comment, I know this isn't a hotel, but it would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I would also have to say that the breakfast doesn't cater for the British palate, but then again, this is Austria. Veronika did offer other choices, so this is not a criticism, merely an observation. Cold meats don't cut it for me in the morning and I have never seen Corn Flakes left off the menu before. This B+B gets a massive thumbs up from me.
