Everything from arrival to departure was just perfect. The warmth is really special, here you still live the hospitality of the guests. Very hospitable and helpful. The stay was just wonderful, we'll be back!

It's a very successful stay.

The warm reception by the Stabauer family creates an atmosphere of comfort from the first minute, which makes one believe that you are visiting good acquaintances. Here the concept of guest house is still alive. The dreamlike view from the very clean and well-kept rooms is only surpassed by the fantastic breakfast - not to mention some secret tips for great enterprises. The quiet location a little outside is a guarantee for a relaxing time and allows, among other things, walking from the front door. Our stay still makes us flourish - and will definitely not be our last.

A guest house like the book says

The location of the Stabauer guesthouse is unique. You have a great view from the terrace to the Monsee. We've been here several times. You feel at home. The cleanliness of the summummer was back on top. The evening gathering on the large terrace with the Stabauer family is already something special. You don't feel alone. The breakfast is rich and it will also satisfy any additional wishes. We will definitely be back.

Summer rainfall August / September

Very nice, family-friendly guest house where you feel at home. Fam. Stabauer is very eager to make her guests' holidays as pleasant as possible. We were very warmly received and received many tips on what is worth seeing in the area. Great and quiet location with great views, rich breakfast. The photos correspond to reality, rooms very clean. We can only recommend this guest house further.

It feels like home

We stayed at Gastehaus Stabauer for two nights in late October. The hosts were gracious, and very helpful and accommodating. The rooms have been renovated recently, and they have everything to make your stay comfortable. The views are outstanding of both lakes and mountains. It's a quiet location on a lightly used road. Breakfast is fresh, hearty and served at your table. We have great memories of Gastehaus Stabauer and our time in Mondsee.

So beautiful it almost doesn't look real

Went to a wedding in Mondsee and decided to stay with the Stabauer family , and we have no regrets , the family was very friendly and welcoming, they were also very helpful. What to say about the place, our room was super cosy , nice and warm , the rest of the place was extremely clean and tidy. The service was awesome and the breakfast was very very nice, there was a bar and a sauna as well :) They were also very kind to prepare us an early breakfast on the day we were leaving as it was very early in the morning. A must is also the winter landscape, it was all covered in snow and it was looking like a winter wonderland. We definitely recommend it . Thank you Stabauer family for the warm and welcoming reception

Great, absolutely calm peak position above the Moon Sea

We were in 3 local rooms in the mansion. Separately note the balcony-terrace, a very beautiful view from there opens up. In the room is high-quality furniture, pleasant interior colors, a caroline floor, enough light and daytime and dining lights for lovers to read in, there is a work table and a small coffee table, many roses. The sanctuary is quite spacious and convenient (excuse the details, but the boys with high height are not very comfortable at the time of the day, they're only suitable for the toilet, they lie in a flooded mansion), they've got plenty of light and daytime and dining lights for lovers to read in, there's a working table and a small coffee table, lots of roses.

It's cozy and high-quality!

What a fabulous place to stay. Perfect location if you have a car...perfect hosts! The town of Mondsee is lovely, a short 20 minute drive to Salzburg, plus Hallstatt and St Wolfgang within an hours drive. Our 3 day stay was perfect! Thank you Sabrina for your great hospitality! Added bonus...The Church from Sound of Music is in Mondsee!!

Perfect Mondsee

We spent a week in the guest house Stabauer. The location is beautiful and offers a wonderful view slightly above the Moon Sea. The rooms are modern, bright, spacious and friendly designed. The balcony is also beautiful. The immediate surroundings and the house are very quiet, so you can relax perfectly. The cleanliness of the whole house is superb. The breakfast is rich, varied and prepared with love. On request, it is individually taken. The warm and authentic style of the guesthouse makes the vacation a perfect experience. You notice that the satisfaction of the guest's family here is a matter of heart. Tips around the region, excursions or recommendations can not be taken at any time in the guesthouse, but you can definitely spend a very good time in the last resort!
