A nice place to stay in a quiet place. The owner is friendly and always up for a nice chat or joke. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious.  The breakfast was fine and more than enough.  Unfortunately it was only 1 night, staying here longer is certainly not a punishment!

Best place to stay!

Very friendly owners/staff. The rooms are very big, with good beds. Breakfast was delicious., always ask for scrambled eggs!  Only downpoint is tv only in german. Burt then again you don't go on holiday to watch tv. Location. Is beautiful.

Perfeita stay!

We spent a remarkably restful but refreshing two nights here. We wanted a typical Austrian village experience driving between Vienna and Venice -- and found it here. The narrow drive up to the property can easily be missed while looking a the lake on the first drive-past, but once you know where it is; no worries! 

Only a small section of the property was occupied at this time; no lift so people with mobility problems or extra large cases will face difficulties.

We were met by our friendly hostess who directed us to our room. It was very comfortable and generous in size; even the bathroom was large containing a clean modern shower with heated towel rack and FLOOR!

Even with few guests, breakfast was bountiful, with delicious fresh eggs served by our friendly congenial host.

Staying at Pension Lanzer was an excellent choice for us -- most highly recommended for the hospitality and beautiful peaceful location.

Peace and Quiet between Vienna and Venice

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Pension Lanzer when attending a wedding at Schloss Moosburg. Lanzer is located within walking distance from the castle and there were also a nice restaurant and shop nearby. Lanzer is located in beautiful surroundings with easy access to water for bathing or fishing.

We had a double room and it was clear that the rooms were newly renovated. The beds were nice and the bathroom nice and roomy. Included with our room was free WiFi and breakfast.

The host was great, willing to help with whatever problems we might have. Our luggage was a day late and he provided toothbrushes and toothpaste for us even though the shop was closed. There were also other family members of mine staying at Lanzer, and he also helped them out washing clothes, providing ironing equipment and transport. He also always had a friendly attitude.

If you are going to or just near Moosburg I recommend you choose Pension Lanzer.

My warmest recommendations

This Hotel is a hotel where you find yourselve at home. It has a good location on a quiet area and not far from Velden, the place of entertainment. The hotel do have a beautifull lake vieuw and have there own beachside. They have a very nice place for breakfast. The owners are very friendly and taking good care of there guests.

heaven near the lake

This small Hotel is 5 km from main lake Woerthersee/Poertschach, above a small and romantic lake. It is very quiet. The owners manage the Hotel themselves. They are very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are of adequate size and have all modern equipment. Everything is very clean. You find a desk, modern TV Screen, W-Lan is free and of excellent functional quality. Parking is directly at the hotel and free.Breakfast is very good and so is the variety offered, eggs to your order, sausage, cheese, homemade jams and so on. Price is very reasonable for what you get, double room including breakfast about 90 Euros. Can be recommended. In summertime lake Woerthersee is wonderful for swimming, walks water-ski..and has many Cafes and Restaurants.
