The guest house Elfriede is located in a good location in Morbisch. The courtyard is very beautifully designed and invites us to stay in the evening. The hostess is very nice. We were disappointed with the room, but the cleanliness and air quality were left to be desired. Breakfast was a good fit.

Nice hostess - rooms well

We slept in a double room in the main house for two nights. Unfortunately, it was very hot and noisy when the windows were open. The room was clean, but the bedding was old and broken, the curtains were of different lengths... At breakfast we were the last and nothing was served, so we didn't get any cheese etc.

Overpriced

I went to the wine shop and spent the night here. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The living room with refreshments is very positive, here you can buy yourself a good glass of wine in the evening in self-service. The breakfast was served by the owner and was sufficient and varied.

Nice accommodation

We spent two beautiful summer vacation weeks in the holiday apartment of the Elfriede Pension. The apartment is very nicely renovated and offers enough space for a family of four. The windows are equipped with insect protection stoves, which is very important here. It is also pleasantly cool in the summer and you can use the typical Burgundian garden. Besides, a breakfast in the pension is also possible. The landlady is very kind and helpful. You feel welcome and cared for. We enjoyed the stay around.

Relaxing Summer Vacation

Don't expect too much: there's no luxury in terms of facilities here... However, you'll be welcomed as friends here, and that counts a lot in times of impersonal vending machines. The rooms are, however, only for mountaineers, because you can reach them by dizzying stairs. The quality of sleep is excellent, the street is very quiet. A highlight is breakfast in the Oleander-decorated courtyard. Cash payment is desirable.

Family Hospitality

The guest house Elfriede in Mörbisch on the Neusiedlersee is, like the whole region, something for Romantics, cycling enthusiasts and/or wine lovers. Like most guest rooms, the guest house Elfriede is not the latest, but very charming and distinguished by the openness of the landlord. You feel at home, which must be celebrated even with an evening glass of wine.
