First of all, the staff must be particularly friendly, and above all the housekeeper, who is open-minded about all matters. Breakfast is probably the best, and it is advisable to book early here because the house is often too small.

A special jewel - highly recommended!

We stayed here for a few days in this boarding house in the centre of Murbach (all within walking distance). The hospitality is very warm and you get tips for all matters (food, excursions, drinks, bathing, etc.). The rooms are sufficiently large and very well maintained and we had a beautiful balcony. Breakfast is exceptionally good with everything the heart desires, no wishes remain open here. Recommended.

A warm service, a nice retirement

In July 2021, we stayed for 3 nights at the Pannonia country house in Mörbisch on the Neusiedlersee. The country house is centrally located. Parking is limited in the yard, otherwise on the designated parking lots on the street. Our room located by the street was simple and practical. Bath and toilet are separate and would have required a modernisation. Personally, the mattress was too hard and the air conditioner and the pillow were still available for me. Positive was the available for us in view of the temperatures in any case. The waste was sufficient and alternating.

Good value for money!

We were four on our way from Podersdorf to Hungary with all the wheels to Mörbisch and she completely underestimated the strong wind and exceeded the arrival time at the Landhaus Hotel by a good four hours.Upon our arrival we immediately found the entrance to the lovingly decorated backyard that led directly to the generously decorated bicycle room.Soon the wheels in it stopped and the boss in front of us and welcomed us warmly.She thought even she would have already worried about where we were staying and wanted to call us if everything was okay.Wow, before we were ever in this hotel we were very worried about it.And then we thought we'd have to do a little work at the same time, but now we'd have to make a little check in the shower, but we'd have to go to the shower, but now we'd have to go to the bathrooms, and I'd like to have a nice cup of coffee and all the rest of our rooms.

Best suited for cycling

We went there for a long weekend. Very friendly owner and staff, big rooms, good location, close to Wien, great breakfast so what else? Clean rooms and the owner lady every morning gave us good ideas where to go. Strongly recommended!

It's an excellent house with excellent service and above average friendly people. You'll be welcomed in person and as a friend. The owners take care of each guest personally and stand by you with action and advice. We were with our 11-month-old baby guest and I have to say we rarely felt this comfortable. It's a very family atmosphere and we didn't miss anything. The rooms are large and clean, the house is centrally located and quiet. What impressed us is the breakfast - really a highlight, it was all there, everything must be fresh. The boarding house sells its own wines, which you can also enjoy on the terrace in the evening. We're happy to come back.

A highlight

We spent five nights at the Landhaus Pannonia. While Mörbisch itself is not centrally located in Burgenland, it is an excellent location for a traveling in the southern half. It combines quick access for bathing and boating in the Neusiedlersee and proximity to the many inland points of interest in Burgenland and Hungary. The Landhaus is in the center of the town and everything is within walking distance.  That is good since parking is sometimes difficult to find around the hotel.

As for the facility, it shares space with the small winery.  The Landhaus is a modern building with up-to-date furnishings, new modern bedding, air conditioning, mini-bar. sufficient electrical outlets and efficient bathroom ventilation.  This is one of the most well-furnished hotel rooms you will find at the price.  The only thing we found lacking is a parking space for luggage. This was not a problem for us as we unpacked for our longer stay, but for someone living out of a suitcase on a 1-2 day stay, using the floor or bed is inconvenient.

The breakfast was a very pleasant surprise. Many larger hotels could take a lesson here. Each morning there were several different items from the day before. The quality of the meats, cheeses, fruit and conserves was of first rate. One of the owners was present preparing and overseeing breakfast every day and, both owners were there on most days.  That is how you set and maintain high standards.

If the TripAdvisor rating scale were 1-10, this would be a 9.  Highly recommended.

We spent 4 nights on bicycles and active and swimming holidays and can only recommend it further. The hosts are extremely kind and really lovingly take care of everything. Rooms are freshly renovated, large balconies and SUPER FRUICHTACK on the terrace! We were able to lock out bicycles well and the parking space in the courtyard is also large.
